I am adopted, was when I was a toddler

I love food, especially Italian. My fave kitchen appliance is my crock pot and my electric frying pan. I never liked to cook until I had kids, now I love experimenting with new recipes and ingredients

I love the colors green, blue, brown/pink combo

I think thunderstorms are beautiful but they scare me too

I try to be more organized in my house and love baskets, buckets, boxes that can be used in various ways around the house to organize

I am the oldest of 6 siblings (all girls) and my husband is the youngest of 8 siblings

love to scrapbook, make cards & cross stitch

I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years only recently really getting into using embellishments, and learning new techniques. I also have recently started using stamping and love Close to My Heart products. My newest addiction is card making though, and am always on the hunt for new ideas for the cards I make for family and friends

My fave colors to scrapbook with are blues, greens, pinks, purples

I want to learn to do more altered projects like clipboards, canvas, cds,etc

I have been doing cross-stitch for about 12 years and although time consuming, I am happy about all the wonderful gifts I have been able to make for family and friends.

I am a sucker for chick flicks, and mystery/thrillers, but not horror or occultic based

My style for decorating is very simple. I love earth tones, especially green. My living room is neutral with browns and tans/taupes. My kitchen is dusty blue. My master bedroom is rose colored and gold tones. My girls room is purple (lilac and dark lilac, with butterflies, dragonflies, and ladybugs on the bedding all in purple shades). My bathroom is navy

The only holiday I really go all out for decorating is Christmas. I alternate years with different colors and have used burgandy/gold, silver/blue, silver/purple and red and gold. I like classic, classy looking Christmas decorations including the ornaments. Nothing cheesy. Usually I use only ribbon, balls and lights on my trees, but depends on the year.
