I LOVE GETTING MAIL!!! Favorite colors: earth tones, simple black, grey, white, beige. Sometimes I like to keep it simple with black & white. Depends on the mood.

Our home is in the redwoods, surrounded by trees older than my great grands. I love the beach, the outdoors, traveling, reading, listening to music.

I believe in living in the moment. I do try to think things through, but my hubby is much better at that than I am. I try to make every moment count. In doing so, I am so focused on the moment...I put my all into everything I do! I love to cook, even like to clean (sometimes). I love to be with my kids!! And I even love my work.

If for any reason you haven't received a swap item from me, please let me know. I'm pretty conscientious and organized and would never flake. I wouldn't want to be flaked on.

I used to create jewelry but my current lifestyle doesn’t allow much time for that.

I have some fairly strange collections: silver utensils, vintage coffee mugs or tea cups, and plants. I enjoy reading and tend to judge a book by its cover. I love the idea of journaling but I’m not very creative anymore.

I LIKE... -My favorite season is summer. I love the heat, the smells, the vacation mode, the smiles on the kids faces when school is out of session, the longer days...(yes, I could go on & on)

MOST OF ALL I LIKE RANDOM EPHEMERA! It could be truly vintage or a remake, but all things ephemera

I love yard sales and thrift stores. I like that I can walk up to a complete strangers pile of "junk" and find an amazing treasure that will brighten my day & add character to my home or jewelry collection. I especially appreciate being able to repurpose items

I love vintage cases, like old typewriter cases, old jewelry or make-up boxes. I use random things for completely useful purposes.

I love socks. LOVE THEM.

I like candy, love any chocolates or candies from other countries (outside USA) because I love to try things from other places.
I like patience and kindness in others and I try to be a kind and patient person as well.

Preferences:

I'm really easy going. If I receive an item I don't have a use for, I will regift or donate.

I prefer tea to coffee or hot chocolate, but hot chocolate is still appreciated in the house!

But I love getting mail, so no matter what I get I am happy. :)

I don't want anything creepy or spooky, I'm just not into it. Save the creepy spooky stuff for someone who will appreciate it. No vampires, demons, ghosts, spiders, snakes, palm reading, witchcraft, etc. Thank you for respecting my dislikes.

I've been around a few places in the US...and then Mexico, Costa Rica, England, Canada, France, Italy, and Switzerland. I like to experience new cultures, tastes, smells, etc. We plan to do more traveling...very, very soon.
