Hi I am married , with three grown children & 3 grand daughters . We live 90 km south of Sydney on the coast

I love all sorts of craft including smocking ,embroidery, cross stitch, sewing & patchwork especially hexagons,

Likes

I love being in the garden , growing herbs ,plants , green tea as I cant have milk products. I enjoy op- shopping & recyling .My recent projects were waterbottle carriers made out of damaged wollworths bags & butterfly windchimes from music sheets

I like hoildays in our caravan , being outside , Barbques so receipes are welcome , lace, calico & pretty things

Dislikes The main dislike would be the colour RED , I hate it

Scrap booking is the one craft I cant get into so please dont send supplies

I have found the cost of posting to be to much so my new years resolution was only to do small swaps , no more big ones

It's so nice to receive something I can't make too (sewing and cross-stich are not my forte lol). Comment: Tahnks, Nadine, for the effort even though someone in the post office is not your friend and at the cookies and tea. I wish you have told me more about the nurses as I won't be able to buy the book and I'm sure their story is worth reading/knowing about.
Response: I am so upset with the postage situation, to happen to both of the swaps , i will have to be more careful with parceling packages , i so wanted you to experience a tim tam" with reading. The book is a amazing read of some very special nurses who went thru a lot. I have seen the book on international ebay & amazon sites but it can be expensive. The movie is another option .Thanks for the rating

Comment: Well this is a first! I received the swap on Saturday, but all that arrived was the envelope which was heavily damaged. The post office had wrapped it in plastic with a note apologizing for the damages. The envelope was empty, which is such a shame because clearly you took the time to send it, & it looks like it was pretty expensive shipping... AUS $7.40? Not sure how much that is US. Thank you for sending it. Would you mind telling me which book it was? Maybe I'll look it up still so I could see if it interests me. I rated you a five & added a heart because there was no way to accurately rate the swap.
Response: What a disappointment, I will resend as a letter without the extras as it is a good book. I thought I had taken a photo but some how didnt This one will be stuck down very well . I will also message the other lady to see if she has had the same problem ,Thankyou for the rating
