I'm a 22yr old lady who just moved to Oregon with my wonderful boyfriend.

I love to knit, craft, and cook. I've been a member of sendsomething.net for ages (and postcardx before that). Mail art fascinates me, and I love all the different things people create and send. I like to create ATCs, postcards and various other configurations of mail art. I also love to write letters and trade recipes and favorite quotes, thoughts, moments.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Where do you go in your dreams? What do you see when you close your eyes and smile?

My favorite colors are teal and purple, with orange, yellow and kelly green as strong seconds. I like things that pop. (But I also love black and white, so don't feel constrained by my color statements.)

I prefer something from a thrift store to something bought new. Something that has been touched versus something that has been purchased.

I absolutely love reading. It is so hard to choose favorites, I think. But I'll pick a few that I really like.

I do not own a television, and I think advertising is one of the worst things about modern society.

That said, I do have a netflix account on which I love watching 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, and the Walking Dead.

I've been knitting for years, and I love doing it. I'm currently working on a few larger lace projects in between creating hats and gloves to keep myself warm this winter.

I really like working with mixed media, layering paint, paper, and found objects. I love getting stickers and paper scraps in the mail to use in my work.

I grew up thinking I couldn't draw, but I'm doing my best to change that now.

I eat as much local, organic food as I can. I cook most of my food at home, and I love hosting small-ish dinner parties.

I love my morning coffee with a dash of heavy cream, and I drink water, tea and homemade kombucha the rest of the day. I love most kinds of tea and herbal blends, but I don't like citrus additions, so no Earl Grey or Lemon Whatever. I prefer organic tea, but will appreciate anything I am sent.

Harold and Maude is my favorite movie.
