i live in new jersey with my husband and dog...i have only a few hobbies but when i get into something, i live and breathe it!

i love knitting (obviously), bpal and i started getting into letterboxing right before winter started...

yarns i love: artyarns ultramerino 4, colinette jitterbug, handpainted sock yarns...i love autumnal colors, purples and pinks. not a fan of blues.

in the realm of bpal...i am a white floral girl....i love moonflower, jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle, rose (all kinds) as well as grapefruit (bpal graprefruit isnt so great on me though) and sandalwood (in small doses). i am still learning my bpal but i have discovered that patchouli and myrrh hate me and the lab's lavender and lemon notes are too sharp. recent loves are rose red 07, peacock queen, noche buena, crow moon, ephemera, bow & crown of conquest, to helen, april fool, hi'iaka...i'd like to get into florals with more bite to them, like a woody undertone but i am treading lightly in this direction cos i easily get migraines from disagreeable smells.

when the weather gets warmer, i'll prolly get back into letterboxing on a more consistent basis. i havent carved my own stamps yet but i cant wait to.

i also have been getting into lush products...loves so far: i should coco, almond butter, sexy peel, demon in the dark, alkmaar, flying fox, happy hippy, acqumarina....

occupation-era french films--children of paradise is one of my all-time favorites. other faves: godfather, supertroopers, friday, center stage (love ballet!)...

ryan adams, jeff buckley, cocteau twins, pj harvey, neko case, jazz, nirvana, hole, depeche mode, muse, sufjan stevens, radiohead, starlite desperation....

gilead, lovely bones, jane austen, martin amis, samuel beckett, john keats, dostoevsky...i dont read much anymore as it gets in the way of knitting. i do listen to audiobooks but i am limited to what the library offers over the digiweb.

simpsons, family guy, lost, american dad. i dont have cable and grew up without it so i dont watch as much tv as i possibly could be, thank f*ck
