I don't have a website or a blog yet, but I'm working on getting there. Not enough hours in the day!
My favorite colors are teal and turquoise, so I love pretty much all blues and greens. I absolutely adore the handpainted indie/etsy colorways that are becoming so popular for yarns and fibers...I still plan to try all of the different exotic fibers but just haven't gotten there yet.
I love tea and cocoa, but never drink coffee. I breed and show British Shorthair cats, though my favorite cat breed is the Korat (best cats in the world--I have a neutered male, Max).
I collect both cat and sheep-themed items, more idly than avidly, but love receiving both. I love peach and vanilla scented bath and body things.
We have recently begun making homemade soap, and I am having such a fun time--it is amazing what you can do with a crock pot and an organic store!
I love knitting and am just getting into spinning and dyeing. I especially love baby gifts with bold colors and difficult patterns. It seems like everyone I know is having a baby...
Ever since I injured my neck (spinal cord) in an accident I've been stuck at home, so I figure I knit about 7 or 8 hours a day on average...its pretty obsessive, but it feels like I'm doing something! (and I give away 90% of what I knit)
I like music that I can sing along with, like 80s music, or musical stuff (my s.o. and I do a lot of driving, and I think both of us know every word of Phantom, Les Mis, Miss Saigon, etc...) that everyone loves. I also really like the music my father taught me to love as I was growing up (which is a real hodgepodge of various stuff).
What Dreams May Come (to love your partner so much you'd even give up your Heaven for them--how can you not love a plot like that), City of Angels (same concept), An American Werewolf in Paris (boy was that hilarious, if a bit creepy), True Lies (great action movie)--I watch a lot of movies, just no horror...basically...
ER, Grey's Anatomy, So You Think You Can Dance (though I can't!), Survivor, the Amazing Race, Top Chef, Jeopardy, Boston Legal
Knitting--all kinds--socks, baby garments, sweaters, toys--I love medium or fine yarns, the really thick superbulky ones hurt my hands to knit. I love natural fibers the most--soft wools of any kinds, alpaca, cottons.
I am just learning spinning, and have my better half making a wheel (drop spindles for now) and I've had so much fun lately buying fleece 'on the hoof'...
Dyeing is soooo much fun--even more than it looks on TV--Kool-Aid is the easiest, though the Jacquard are quite a bit of fun too.
I am still building my collection of needles, I prefer metal ones to bamboo, and I just bought my first 'Addi' (boy was I excited!). I have almost all sizes of single pointed needles from 1-13, but only a few of the dp (they're harder to find up here, we just have the basics)--my goal for the year is to sell enough soap to buy some nice dp needles for xmas sock making.
I also do Cross-stich, though not as much since I've started knitting!

Hello Billie, Did you get the stitch makers? I hope the colors were ones you liked
Hi Billie,
I have sent you emails and also your package was sent before the end of August, but have heard nothing in return. I am hoping that you at least received your package? It would be nice to know...
Just hoping you didn't hate it or something?
Cary at Serenity Farms
I have written to my swap-partner and explained why her package is delayed.
Hi: I sent my memory yarn on August 7 and have delivery confirmation of August 9. Just wanted to let you know. I was burned on my very first swapbot. I joined two more after the first I joined said I looked suspicious for just joining one. That one screwed me. I really, really hope this one does not because it will be my second and last.----Yarnpatch.
oops! i forgot to say THANK YOU for the mags! wf
the crochet magazines came today!! i love the selections!! i'm sure they will keep me busy at least for awhile!! (i'm still a little slow, but i'm truly loving crochet all over again!) wf
Hi Billie! I am going to be gifting you with some fiber stash ;) I can't remember if we are supposed to keep our identity secret or not, but I will probably just email you as I am terrible at keeping secrets - LOL!
Glad to be the first to rate you!
