I'm Amanda, WAHM to three cute kiddos, 4, 6 and 8. I love to sew, crochet, hand embroider, dabble in bath product making, and all crafts in general. I am also slightly addicted to coffee, chocolate, reality tv, and swapping. I'm new here, but have done many swaps at sewingmamas.com amitymama.com and have feedback there (same username).

I am such a sucker for reality tv. I love it all! I can hardly wait for Big Brother to begin, lol. I watch either Dr. Phil or Oprah everyday while folding laundry...catch a little PBS kids during breakfast...Food Network..TLC...

1- Sewing! I get a big kick out of unique and/or funny prints, and have a gigantic collection of fabric. Heather Ross prints are probably my favorite (the new stuff and the older Munki Munki ones), and Alexander Henry is a close second. I make potholders obsessively, and basically love to sew all kinds of accessory type things. I sew clothing for my kids too, and gifts for just about everyone I know.

2- Crochet! The best thing about crocheting, is that you can do it at the park (which my kids beg to go to every single day). So, I make all kinds of things that are simple enough for me to follow while I yell "Up the ladder, DOWN the slide" for the 100th time. I pretty much only use cotton and wool yarn, but I love crazy colors.

3- Hand embroidery- yet another nice take-along craft. I've done quite a few hand embroidered onesie sets as baby shower gifts, and think they're pretty entertaining.

4- Soap/Lip Balm/Lotion/Scrub/Fizzie Making. I'm just learning how to do these, but my kids make great testers, lol. I have a gallon of coconut oil in my closet, so I need to find some more things to make with it. Hey, the gallon was only $2 more than the little container! I can't pass up a bargain.

I'm a novel kind of girl. No trashy or mystery ones though. I'm reading Cold Mountain right now, and that's pretty much the type I usually read. I've read every Oprah's book club book, lol.

I am a HUGE fan of Broadway, and love all show tunes. I'm on a Rent kick right now, lol. I also like contemporary Christian music, top 40 type stuff, 80's classics...
