Hi! My name is Roselyn, and I'm from the Philippines. I just graduated with a degree in Microbiology, but I will still be in school for a year to finish my minors in Education and English Literature.. I play the violin and the piano. I have 4 pet cats, namely Ampon (Filipino for "adopted" because she is not related to the other 3), Macky, Garfield & Winter.

Teas :

I love trying out all kinds of tea! But my favorites would be earl grey, jasmine, oolong, milk tea, ginger & citrusy/fruity teas!

I also love pressed pennies! When I was a kid my parents took me on a trip to the US to around 10 out of 50 states... And I collected all kinds of pressed pennies I could find! I wish to add more to my collection but unfortunately I haven't been able to return to the US since year 2002! I also like collecting fridge magnets, especially ones from the US! For US fridge magnets I only have Pennsylvania & Missouri so far. I am trying to collect the shaped ones (as to how you'd see each state on the US map) for an idea here's what they look like :

Dislikes :

I appreciate all kinds of stuff sent to me but please don't send me damaged things/gory stuff/nude people... I live in a conservative and majorly Catholic country and I might be judged if I get caught dead with any nude stuff in my stash. :))

I am also not a big fan of Twilight but if you have postcards of Jacob Black/Taylor Lautner ONLY, I'd be more happy to receive one!

Just sent all my items for pending swaps!

I'm thinking about quitting Swap-bot after finishing all my pending swaps, though. Sometimes, my self-esteem just goes down and I don't enjoy doing some of the swaps anymore here due to certain reasons.

But if you think I should do otherwise, feel free to leave comments on my profile!

I mainly speak English and Filipino, but I can understand and speak (a little!) Deutsch, so if you're German you can write to me in German! :)) I'm trying to practice it again since it's been 2 years since I took foreign language classes.

Then don't hesitate to message me, before thinking about giving me a 1 rating. It might have just been delayed due to postal problems (sorry about Philpost). Usually it takes 3 weeks for international snail mail to arrive here and vice versa.

As most of you may have noticed, I haven't been actively participating in any swaps recently. This is due to the fact that it came to the point that my swaps piled up and the mistakes came along with them as well, hence I had to resend A LOT of swaps and apologize to A LOT of my swap partners who have been affected.

I know my responsibilities as a swapper, but as a human person I get tired, too. I've been thinking of quitting Swap-bot altogether, but I decided to keep my profile up for private swaps, and since I know I still have an obligation to the Folk Tale Journal I am part of @Apelser you know this and I can't quit on you guys now because I still have someone else's notebook with me.

@kats I changed my mind and decided to just allow you to rate me a 3. I spent a lot on your shirt and postage, so spending again to get you another shirt and resending will actually hurt my pocket more. I am really sorry about this if you were disappointed, but this is really the last time I am joining another swap such as this. I don't really care about the 3 (seriously, since i just said i'm quitting) Technically, I did not flake you because I sent you at least something in the first place.
