Comment: Hi Elsie, I received your postcard today on Wednesday the 7th of February. (Postmark details: "SAN FRANCISCO CA 940" and "16 JAN 2024 PM 3 L.") That's an interesting setting to put National Nothing Day in your story. Thanks for sharing! ~Kiyasu
Comment: Love your story! I never had a date that bad either, thank God! The postcard you chose is hilarious and a bit creepy. I imagine this is what I would wear if I had to go out in -40 or something
Comment: What a wonderful postcard and book quotation. I know that Plath also wrote a lot of upbeat and funny poems. It is a great choice. Carolina is a distant-adoption. She works in Africa and has been trained to sniff out tuberculosis and can do more diagnoses in a day than people can. She is my "rat hero". Look up APOPO "hero rats". Thank you for being interested. Have you read "Mushrooms" by Plath? It's very nifty.
Comment: Hi Elsie, thanks for the prompt e-mail, and good job for your second swap. Appreciate the extra photo as well. I've responded to you more in depth via e-mail, but wanted to say I really like what you sent and welcome to Swap-bot! (I'm new as well.) Cheers, Kiyasu
