Comment: Thank you so much for the fun postcards! I have never seen any of these before so they are great additions to my collection. Take care and Have a great week! :)
Comment: Hi James! Love your Blue Angels pc and yes, it fits the bill for this swap! I have seen their show a couple of times and it is always amazing! All the Best and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Yes! Three awesome post cards for me!! I don't have any from London and that's a beautiful picture of the clock! Great one of New York! And I had to look up where Lake Itasca State Park was!! Thank you for sending these to me!!
Comment: Many, many thanks for the beautiful hummingbird postcard. I have only seen hummingbirds on TV but I hope I can see them in real life, too some day. Thank you very much for choosing this postcard for me.
Comment: Thank you for the Kennedy Space Center card! how cool! I have been there but not in a LONG time (Since I was a kid!)
Best wishes and happy Halloween! Gabi
Comment: Thank you for the cool Kennedy center PC! YES! I do on occasion get items addressed with “PLZ NOTE NO ‘H’ IN WINDAM” I always get a kick hand a little head shake) out of it!
Comment: I actually love your card with the different types of shells. It's perfect for my son who collects shells and other treasures in his little museum. Another men's treasure for sure :) Thanks!
Comment: Your chunk got a good laugh. I do recommend environmentally-friendly, biodegradable poo-poo bags though, they're the better choice for the environment. Best, Rick
Comment: Yeah, it seems obvious that I would hate these cards too - were these the only ones you could send? 😅 I sure hope it was not your intention to offend me 'cause we aim to please 🙃
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcards! My husband really likes the LEGO pool table card - I used to shoot pool, so it is perfect for me! I hope all is well in Canada and that the winter hasn't been too bad for you. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the blue angel card. I’ve never gone to see them when they fly here in Maine but maybe someday I will. I just don’t care to be in such large crowds.
Comment: I hate this postcard so much. Terrible things that are so cringeworthy. You've got a genius touch. I am now seething with hatred. Seriously, have a great holiday season.
Comment: James, Apple Jacks is a great cereal! My favorite is PB Captain Crunch! Thanks for a great chuck and keep up with the stamp collection! Best, Rick
Comment: Naaah come on this mushroom is amazing ! In French we call them the veiled lady mushroom or lace mushroom
Anyway, ugly is subjective right ?
Have a nice day !
Comment: Thank you for the cards. The "La Fourure" card is interesting dealing with the mink fur. It probably wouldn't be acceptable in today's society.
Comment: Thank you so much. These are some really cool postcards. The TV head at Chuckburger photograph was taken in San Leandro which is right next to East Oakland where I lived for a few years. Google doesn't show a restaurant by that name now. I guess it closed.
Comment: Hi James - thanks for the cool card. McCracken's Landing looks like an interesting place to explore! and how fun to have received this card as a bonus when you purchased that stamp collection!
Comment: I love these way more than I expected to. There's not a single one I don't like! I love the Pensacola one the most, we vacationed there last summer.
Comment: Hi James. Thank you for the PC - it's very cool that your uncle worked on the shuttle! I can't imagine toilet problems going down well on a thing like that! Take care, Deb
Comment: Thanks for the Floriday PC. I was confused by the Canada stamp, but your note makes sense. Don't know why I first assumed that a FL PC would be printed in FL!
Comment: Hi James! How very cool that the pc was will warm from being printed! Does the printing factory make lots of pcs? I love pcs, so if the answer is yes, I would be in 7th heaven! LOL! Thank you for the lovely lighthouse pc! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the 2 pcs and the extra too. I can use all of them. I will be sending the space and Navy ones to my 9 year old grandsons. They live 5 miles from us but I like sending them surprises in the mail sometimes. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks! I really love the one about the Polish king. Just took another copy of the Montauk one to school to share with students (we're reading Percy Jackson, and that's where his parents met), so now I have a copy to share as well!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard! I've seen the Blue Angels several times since my hubby is retired Air force. I'll keep this one! Happy swapping! ❤
Comment: Hello! I'm sorry for this late rating. Everything arrived well. All of the stamps were really awesome and in good condition. I really appreciate it <3
Comment: Thanks for the swap and the lovely PC.
That's pretty far.Nether my wife or I have ever lived more than 12.9 miles from the hospital we were born in. That's about to change as we prepare to move to Cape Cod.
Comment: It saddened me to see pen-marks rather than postmarks on all of the beautiful Canadian stamps you used … really is best to get stamps postmarked if possible to avoid this —- USA will do this too on occasion if stamps aren’t postmarked. I’ve sent you an email with photos so you can see how your card arrived … definitely no need for another card ad I was just wanting you to know what had happened in transit & this does happen to mail that doesn’t get postmarked … aww so kind of you to send me a postcard in envelope with all the special, beautiful stamps and a note, too — such a keeper, thank you for all that extra effort!!
Response: I apologize for the monkeys at Canada Post. I will put another card in the mail tonight.
Comment: Thank you James for the funny lobster card. Super cute! I also chose pizza, cake, a movie and cash; but I prefer snow over rain. Tonight we are suppose to get up to 25 cm . It will look so pretty, after I shovel. Have a nice day!
Comment: Thanks for the chunk of AppleJacks! I remember the commercials from when I was a kid (too long ago!!), but I haven't eaten any in years! I wonder if the last time was on vacation when my parents used to buy a plastic sleeve with a mix of tiny box of different cereal. We'd hack the box and wax paper liner open with a plastic knife and pour milk into the massacred box. Good times!!
Comment: You’re right James this is the ugliest card ever, and the thing is I have some of these in my collection. Thanks for the card and happy new year.
Comment: Hello James, and thank you so much for the lovely postcards you sent to fulfill this swap. My favorite is the Arizona card with the cacti--I love all cacti and hope to see these in person one day.
Comment: Happy new year James! May 2023 be your best year yet! I just started participating in swaps and am more active on Reddit's RandomActsofCards sub and PostCrossing.
Comment: That sure is an interesting design.... It would've been so much better if the huge pink square in the middle wasn't there.. But it's there XD
Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card. The postcards were great too. I laugh when I look at the Santa that fell down on skis! Thanks for the smile. Merry Christmas!
Comment: Scary! I found an enormous one in my Auntie/Uncle's yard when I was a kid, I backed up very slowly and ran like the devil was after me. My family laughed like crazy! I have never forgotten. Diamondbacks were common while I grew up in Texas.
Comment: Thank you for the 3 cards - they're fantastic. Nice mix. I might keep that floral one or use it for a "write back my postcard" swap - it's gorgeous. : )
Comment: Thank you for choosing the Cape Arago Lighthouse for me. A new one for my collection. Fun fact: Oregon does not allow self serve gas. It is against the law! (according to Hello Kitty trading cards.)
Comment: It always scares me when I read the postcard before I see the pitcure. Your message had me worried. A least now I know what type of shell I'm looking at. LOL
Comment: Thanks very much for the cool postcards. I love the jet one. My dad was a fighter pilot in the Canadian Forces and flew fighter and trainer jets like the Sabre, the CF 100, the Tutor and the T-Bird. He had a great career and was too young for WWII and had retired by the time of Gulf War and Afghanistan. Lucky him! Cathy
Comment: Thank you so much for the two postcards and the extra one! My husband and I have taken a ride on the Maid of the Mist. That was such a fun boat ride to see Niagara Falls. We got so wet and laughed so much!
Comment: Thank you James for the beautiful rainbow colored stamps. I love to look at them, study them and then find information regarding the stamp. Thanks again.
Comment: Hello! I'm so sorry for the late rating. I've had some health issues. Thank you so much for the Badlands postcard! It is one of my favorite national parks. I hope you are doing well and having a lovely spring!
Comment: Thanks for these wonderful PC's! I would love to visit the Dinosaur Park in Alberta! I would melt in Florida! I visited my sister there, she lives in Venice. The Salem trials were such a tragedy! Stay safe and healthy! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard. We also have Mennonite and Amish community near us. I love the simplicity of their lifestyle although I know it's a physically hard life. And double thanks for all the foreign stamps.
Comment: Thanks!! You made me smile! I've been to St Augustine twice. I climbed the lighthouse. Does your printing factory sell postcards to the public?
Comment: Thank you for the card! I actually didn't find it at all ugly (at least not as ugly as the card I sent lol), so this was a very successful swap from my point of view :D
Comment: Thanks very much James, for the awesome Dinosaur Provincial Park PC! I love anything to do with Dinosaurs! Thanks so much too, for joining my swap!😀
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful Badlands PC! I'm sorry for the late rating. I just found your PC that had slipped down between the seats in my car! I didn't find what I was looking for though. LOL! Have a very Happy New Year!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: I seriously just got this today! Whoa! Talk about timing! Thank you for the awesome Chinese stamps! When I get your re-send I'll be sending some back your way!
Comment: Great PC's. I have always wanted to go see the Kennedy Space Center. It would be one long road trip to go, as it is about as far away from our house as possible. Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for this awesome swap idea and for being such an active member in the group! I hope to see your postcard in an episode of #Philately soon!
Comment: Thanks for the “post boxes from around the world” pc. Interesting picture. With me, I look first at what a person has to say, for that is where my heart resonates, in learning more about the inhabitants on our planet 🌎. After that I look at the photo. So I greatly appreciate it when people write more than a greeting, or 1-2 sentences. A message shows that a person cares.
Comment: Thanks for the 20 awesome stamps 😎💜
What’s really awesome, is, I happened to also be your swap partner for another stamps swap from you and you just so happened to send stamps that are a paired set on the outside of the two mailed envelopes...so now I have the pair of them 🥰 I don’t often get Canadian partners, so my newer Canadian stamps are hard to fill, so I get pretty excited about things like this, I suppose 😅
Comment: Thank-you for the exciting stamps! 😁 I very much enjoyed going through what you picked for me 💜 the one you put on the envelope is new for me too 💜💜
Thanks for sharing ☺️
Comment: Hello James,
Thanks for the great lighthouse PC!
I wanna come and see where you work!
Do you just print for other people or is there a shop that sells stuff?
Response: We print for other people. We have a contract for some company that does touristy stuff for the states.
Comment: I love this card of Ripon Cathedral! Even though I think you're right... it might have strict nuns living and working in it that want to beat you with a ruler. ;-) Thank you so much for sending it!
Comment: Okay, what is hilarious is I JUST rated somebody for a different swap and this was the EXACT card!! What are the odds of getting the same postcard, let alone the same postcard in a row!! Thanks for sending and I hope you're having a lovely summer!
Comment: How wonderful to have access to a 'free' treasure trove. Really like this card. One day I hope to get to that park. It's really not that far away. Thanks again.
Comment: Always nice to hear from a fellow Canadian.
Wow, your card arrived with no cancellation and they didn't even scribble across the stamp.... how lucky am I? How nice to have a supply of postcards close by...
Comment: Love the postcard. Do they give you a discount as an employee? I have cousins in Alberta: Calgary, Red Deer, Magrath... They were pioneers there.
Comment: Thanks James! The road that circles our neighborhood is called North Shore too. I love this beautiful sunset picture with all the purples in the sky!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard! If you ever find any dragons in your lunchbox, you can substitute them in any swap where you are sending to me!
Havea great day!
Comment: Thank you James for the really cool Salem Witch Museum postcard. I’m trying to get a collection of postcards from Salem started, and this is my first one! Took a trip there a few years ago, but didn't get any postcards! I love it! Take care!
Comment: Hey there James! Received your swap today and thank you very much, for the Salem Witch museum PC. You said, you work in a printing factory and somehow the PC, you sent me ended up in your lunchbox. What? If that's not spooky, I don't know what is! Kind of creepy if you ask me.
Comment: Thank you for the Salem Witch Museum postcard. I'm glad it ended up in your lunchbox so you could send it to me! I think I would be in big trouble if I worked at a printing factory. :) Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the cool post card. My boys think it is a sign that we should go on an adventure. They are jealous that I went to a shuttle launch at Kennedy space center as a kid:) Blessings for a wonderful 2021! Thank you again
Comment: Wow! I love that you picked this card for me! I used to chaperone German students on an exchange program to the US. And guess where it took place? At the Space Coast, Florida right next to Kennedy Space Center. Actually I've bought this card at least ten times to send it to friends. And now I got it as snail mail too. I could not be happier right now! Take care and stay safe!
Comment: Hi James I got a bit confused when I received your PC! I thought Canada was cold country and was shocked to see a beach scene. Then I googled where Destin was! THANKYOU
Comment: Thanks for this Postcard. To me it is not uninteresting at all, because i love sunrises and sunsets and the golden color of the water. It's really calming. :-)
