I had no idea you just had a fire and I cannot tell you how deeply sorry I am that you are dealing with such a tragedy. I've experienced 2 house fires as a child and it is just the most terrifying and inconvenient and hopeless feeling. I really hope you are able to find some solace in this situation. You are in my thoughts and I am sending you lots of love and strength during this time.

Comment: Thank you Danielle for the beautifully written and how each of the holiday pieces have touched you. So much you wrote in the narrative spoke to me more than you would ever know. I loss my grandmother, on December 23, 1962. The day she passed was a turning point for me and how her death plays even to this day when I hear Christmas Music, especially, Silver Bells. I often find myself sobbing while driving down the road or eating in a restaurant when I hear “Silver Bells”. Don't feel bad about not handwriting your letter. I have had to retreat to typing letters, thank God for fancy fonts, because i have Essential Tremor and it affects both hands. There are days I can write beautiful and then there are days I can't. Also, if I write a letter, my handwriting varies so much that I sometimes I have to print while writing. Happy New Year to you and yours, Kathleen
