Response: When I told Natty her letter went to a chihuahua mom, she was really confused. "Is there any other kind?" her big, brown eyes conveyed. I know she didn't put this in her letter, but she is a dreadful snob. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even consider breeds outside of chihuahuas to be dogs at all. Many thanks for the heart!

Comment: Thank you for the envelope full of cool stuff! I especially liked the mechanical drawing pages. I love looking through older books like that at the thrift and antique shops as well. I actually bought a CD that has .pdf files of loads of old art books from the 1800's through early 1900's on eBay one time. It was very interesting to read through all of those. Hope you have a great week!

Comment: This envelope alone would have been worth 5 stars, the Bewitched theme is so cute....at least I think this is Bewitched..and it was fun how I had to unfold it just right to see the letter on the inside. Also, the A A Fair books and the musty, old stores you found them in both sound delightful! Do any of the stories take place in autumn or winter? Those are my current reading themes. :)

Comment: Hi! Thank you for the fabulous flip book and goodies! For this to be your first one, I'd say you're an expert already! I love it and I love the theme! How difficult was it to sew the pages? Where did you get all of the ephemera you used?
Response: Aw, golly! (*^_^*) Thanks for the kind words. I think my next book I'll do more flips in the up/down direction instead of all side to side. The ephemera came from Tim Holtz' ephemera packs. Mostly "expedition" but maybe a little "thrift shop". Love, *love*, LOVE those packs. There's a Halloween one right now that's to die for! The only snaggle with sewing the pages was that I had to go from the center of a side outward. If I just went around the page, there would be a wrinkle. I usually only sew smaller pages, so I never ran into that prob before! Thanks for the heart!

Comment: I can only imagine what it would have been like to have a house so full for basically 2 minutes of pay out. But I bet seeing the total eclipse was amazing. We got about 93% where I was at it that alone was just fantastic, so I can only imagine what it as like where you were.

I ended up seeing the eclipse on TV. We got 99% but we ended up with heavy cloud cover and rain right when it happened. So TV and other peoples pictures for me.
Response: Ah, crumb, sorry about that. My brain undergoes some sort of momentary lapse in space-time when it comes to remembering this fairly important bit of info. It appears to happen every one out of 10 swaps, and looks like you were one of those lucky ones! This actually spurred me to put a sticky note on all of my postage sheets; "username, swap name." I **will** get these little gray cells in line! Apologies again for the inconvenient omission.
