Comment: That was a thoughtful package. I loved how you put the different items into the glassine bags with handmade labels and the bakers twine. All the little bits and so many romantic little things to really have fun with and create something special. I do love Jane Austen and now I am definitely going to come up with something special to use it. The wax seals were something I haven't used in decades... since my early teens. The stickers are almost too wonderful to use. I will probably hoard them. Thanks!!!!

Response: I’m glad you like them! I started making my own “sticker sheets” after the first few swaps I did. Since envelope thickness and uniformity are cost factors, putting mounting them on the paper makes is less expensive, plus it gives the recipient some paper to use if they’d like. 😊

Response: I’m glad you liked everything! I started making my own “sticker sheets” as a way to keep my envelopes flat and avoid paying extra postage. The first few times I sent loose stickers, they clumped up in the corner of the envelope, and the post office charged more. Plus, depending upon how carefully the stickers are removed, the recipient gets some paper to craft with as a bonus. Win/win!

Comment: Thank you very much for the bird postcard and your musical answers. My favorite is One you grew up with "More than a feeling". As so did I grow up with that song. Great choices though.
Response: One of my favorite memories is riding in the truck with my dad on the way to little league basketball practice, listening to that album on cassette through the speakers. My dad is a drummer, and my mom and my brother and I are all fairly musical, so I grew up with a lot of music playing in the house. It wasn’t surprising for there to be a different genre playing from whatever areas we were occupying in the house at the time. 😊

Response: You are so welcome - I’m glad you’re pleased! Yeah, I decided to start doing that with the loose stickers for that very reason after sending some a while back. Otherwise, they have a tendency to bunch up in the envelope, which makes the envelope fatter and more expensive to send. It works really well for small sticker swaps like this one.
