My parents' good friends lived there when my Godfather worked at NORAD. My dad was a pilot and tried to join American Airlines . It didn't work out so he rejoined the Canadian Forces and we moved back to Canada. I visited a few times in the 1980s, too, when my uncle was the Canadian contingent and was a Lieutenant General at NORAD. So I have fond memories of it as you can see!
