Comment: I love your photos! So neat to see some from France! Not sure about the cracked slab, though. My great-great-grandparents and one of their sons had full slabs on their graves, and one of them is cracked. But none of them give the appearance of lots of dark, empty space underneath! Response: Wow! How long have they been there? My mom and her siblings all grew up in Charlotte and my grandmother lived there until she died in mid 1980's. That was the only place that felt like home, since we would go visit many times a year.

Response: Thanks! It is just a rubber stamp that I bought. The postmark one came from a Hero Arts set (Paris) and I stamp the paper before I decoupage it on.

Response: you're welcome. For Boys' Day, it is an Asian tradition for boys to get a fabric fish on a stick, so it looks like it is flying. (Hard to explain but it is cute.) I'm newly married into an Asian family and so I was really excited when I found that stamp :D Mahalo for the heart!
