Last day to signup/drop:June 14, 2013
Date items must be sent by:July 1, 2013
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For this swap, you will have one partner whom you will send one YA novel to. You will also include a nice note that explains why you chose the book you did, and what you think your partner will like about it. So if you enter this swap, you can help your partner out by adding to your profile or commenting below about what kinds of YA books you enjoy.

To sum up, you will send:

~ one YA novel
~ one notecard explaining why you picked your partner's book

This swap is for North Americans only. Last time I held a YA book swap there were a few Canadians who wanted to participate, so I decided to include our lovely friends up north this time around. (I recently sent a book to Canada, and I think it was between $6-$8, for those in the US that are worried about International rates.)

For this swap you must have at least a 4.85 rating, and have a nicely filled out profile. I can angel for this swap, but I will only let those I think will follow through join, so hopefully this won't be an issue.

Leave any questions in the comments below, or you can always message me.

Now let's send some literary mail!

Yay! Thank you for hosting a North America swap. :) I enjoy most YA novels, for more specifics (books I already own etc) it's probably best if my partner checks my Goodreads. http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/7194593-ebonny

@takehimaway Hooray! I hope you end up joining! @ParanormalBabydoll Of course--thanks for joining! I'm friending you on goodreads if you don't mind. :)

Of course not. I love Goodreads and swapping so this swap is perfect! :)

Excited for this one! Read a lot of YA as noted in my goodreads (link in profile). Looking forward to sharing one of my favorite books with someone else!

Jelorian 06/ 4/2013 #

Just to clarify, should this be a new book (i.e. store-bought)? Just want to make sure!

tuesdaytelegrams 06/ 4/2013 #

@Jelorian brand new isn't necessary, though if you buy it used it needs to be in good shape--no stains, rips, or missing pages!

Ok, I must be out of touch. What are YA books?

Melumebelle 06/ 7/2013 #

Young Adult. (:

Here's my goodreads; I've read a lot of books, and I'm excited to read something new, like perhaps Percy Jackson? :O

Yes, @cgoltz they're young adult novels--The Hunger Games and Twilight are some popular examples. :)

And here's my goodreads too: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/3574894-rachel

Media mail is the cheapest way to ship a book. It only cost $2-$3 in america to ship books via USPS.

Lorna21 06/11/2013 #

This swap says North America although i see other countries joining... Looks tricky.

tuesdaytelegrams 06/15/2013 #

Hey! Everyone has been assigned partners, so happy swapping! And thanks to everyone who joined! :P

And @Lorna21 I only saw Americans & Canadians in the swap!
