Greetings ~ This is a chapter study of the book of James. We will tackle one chapter for an in-depth study each month. There will be an activity sheet for you to download and complete to go with each chapter. You will then send a copy of the completed study sheet to your swap partner. (I encourage you to keep a copy for yourself too.) You can either scan your sheet and email to your partner or snail mail if you prefer. Each activity sheet will be no longer than front and back of one sheet of paper. And yes, I use lots of space for your thoughts. There will be a variety of types of questions and encouragement. If you stick with us all the way through, in 5 months you will have completed a study of the book of James and have your own notes and the notes of another godly woman. If you would like, we can have more than one partner to send too; let me know what you prefer. Why James? Why not? Seriously, I love the book of James for the straight-forward approach he has to telling us what we should be doing for God. Hard not to be convicted when reading such a straight-forward book. You do not have to commit to all five months. Sign up for all five or just a few, it is entirely up to you. (Hey, that rhymed.) Read and study in whatever version of the Bible you prefer. I know we all have a favorite, but let's push that aside as we grow together. Questions? please ask. Study sheet for chapter one will be posted by the sign-up deadline. I may have to email you all the sheet as I am not sure I can attach a file through Swap bot, but you will get it by the sign up deadline! I am newer to Swap Bot, but I cannot wait to see what God teaches us through this. Swap open to all who want to join. I am happy to share my notes if anyone doesn't receive theirs.
