Cadfael57 and anyone else from abroad, you can do a similar swap on 07/08/09 International date! i.e. August 7 :D (so in a way, we will have this occurrence twice this year!)

I will try my darndest to mail on 07/08/09 and will ask at the post office that they hand-cancel my cards with a nice postmark that's very legible. So many of the cards go thru the machines and you can't even read the postmark dates. Hoping my partners can do the same!

Sent first thing this morning before the post office opened. So should be post stamped 8.7.9 if they do there job right. Taking 5 children into a postoffice is like a bull in a china shop. Except instead if breaking its the I wanting.

Sent mine earlier today as well. Keeping my fingers crossed that it has today's postmark!

I was disappointred that the handstamp actually says July 8, 2009. I wanted to see 07-08-09! Oh well!

my sent date i n SB is 7.9.9, but they were stamped at the post "7.8.9"

Same here @Tia one of mine says "JUL 8 2009" and the other says "08 JUL 2009" [European style :^]. No 7 to be seen. Oh well!

Oh, my! This is kind of date mass! Here in Brazil, we use day/month/year date format. So, I was waiting until 7/August/2009 to send my postcards! Sorry my partners! I will send them today.
