I have moved (April 2019) so I have a new address.
Things I like to do:
sketching,
bushwalking, swimming travelling through wide open spaces
I sometimes make ATCs. I also am heavily into journal making and all things journal related.
I help out a local vet sometimes just with animal feeding and cleaning out cages . I sometimes have to step away from mainstream life and reconnect to nature owing to severe depression but I am pushing myself to get on with life. I have been encouraged to keep working on my art/painting/drawing/collage so making journals and also ATCs helps me do that. I have now launched into the realm of mail art and it is great fun.
Themes I really like are:

dragons (not cartoonish)
mermen and mermaids

cacti
desert colours
Originality.
I collect images of contemporary artwork on postcards, notecards or clipped from magazines - something to inspire me!

I love receiving items for my scapbooks/smashbooks and journals ~ anything from the themes above or that I I can write on ie:

decorative notepapers
journal cards of any size
h/m or decorated envelopes
any odd or unusual small items

Zines

Things I truly don't want are:

Anything ghosty, ghouly, witchy or halloween .
Vintage themes
Clowns
Creepy crawlies.
No holiday themes
I am not into penpalling

Sometimes my life is lived on the dark side as I suffer from depression and it takes it's toll on my personal life and relationships. Working with animals helps and so does bushwalking. Both give me space to breathe deeply and get in touch with the needs of others and the natural world.
I am a member of AFA where I also make and trade ATC's.
