About Me

I am a grandmother to 7. I work part time as a classroom aide/busmonitor at our local Head Start, working with underprivileged children age 3-5, gettin, them ready for "real" school. I love to quilt and read. I don't really have a favorite color, but if you were to look at my fabric stash, you would soon see that I am fond of Christmas fabric, a lot of which will be used to make Christmas Stockings for the troops. I am the Minnesota Coordinator for Operation Support For Deployed Military (http://www.operationsupportfordeployedmilitary.org/). Last year we sent over 8,500 stockings to our service men and women. Not only the stockings, but all of the things to stuff them.

Comment: We love Branson! We go every summer with my husband's family. It's only about 4 hours from where I live. But I've never been to the 5 & 10. I will definitely go next time!
