Hi! My name is Regina. I live in the Sandhills of Nebraska in the middle of the USA. I live next to a reservoir (lake) with many types of freshwater species of fish. We experience all 4 seasons here. It can be 100°F in the summer, not too often and then -25°F in the winter. It can be very windy as well, and snowy! We have beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Nature is all around us. The nearest town is a small town 26 miles away, of just over two thousand people. We have 5 eco systems converging together with lots of nature and wildlife all around. I like to listen and see what all the sights and sounds are. Animal tracks and flowers and foliage are fun to identify. We have a small family business with not enough employees or hours in the day, with plenty of various things to do, so travel is limited. I do love to go places with my kids. Hawaii was a new adventure, skydiving with my son, swimming with manta rays, snorkeling to see many saltwater fish, going to see the octopus and letting them touch us. Continually learning and trying new things. I love to go places and try the new fruits and vegetables. I like gardening, collecting different seeds, and cooking. I also like to collect sand and coins/banknotes. I like to make jewelry with semi precious stones. I like to read and Postcrossing is quickly becoming a favorite thing to do! The important part to me, is that you write about YOU, your day, life, obstacles, dreams, etc. And then about the area you live. I would like to travel to each and every place.
