About Me:

I am a Mom of 3.
I have a daughter who is 4th grade teacher. Who is also one of my BFF's!! We love to do crafts with each other! A son who is a great young man, who loves 🐎 horses. He has Autism but he doesn't let that stop him in his daily life. He is my 🌞sonshine. My third child is my 15 year old Bichon Friese. By the way he is a dog, laugh! But he is confused, as he thinks he is a human and not 15 but maybe still between 2 to 5!!!

Favorite Music:

I love Country music 🎶 and also Rock and Roll from the 70's and 80's.

Favorite Books:

The Classics, my children's favorites, Romance novels, historical romance novels, old cookbooks and historical novels. I love a great historical novel that may not be totally true but still has a good bit of the actual events that did happen!!

Favorite Television:

Some of my favorite tv shows are Scandal, The Bates, Little People, Sheldon, Guys Grocery Store, Chopped, and

Favorite Movies:

A Star is Born, Harry Potter (this is a Christmas tradition of ours), ...

Favorite Crafts:

Right now it is Quilting. Since I have been on swap-bot I have received and participated in great swaps!! So I love to trade fabric in all sizes. I am currently working on the following quilting projects so anything to help on these would be greatly appreciated: Shades of Purple (Any purple pattern), Halloween 🎃 (Halloween 🎃 patterns, Orange, Purple, Black), 2 1\2" x2 1\2" Squares (Any color and/or pattern, no solids), I Spy Quilt (Small prints that would fit inside a 3x3" square so that a child has to look for different items). Rooster 🐓: Any fabric to do with roosters and/or chickens. Patterned tan, small patterns but any color of tan will work.

Paper Crafts:

ATCs: My daughter and I used to make ATCs years ago and to get back into them is really fun!! I can always use more ephemera, magazine cutouts, background papers (especially like book pages of vintage). I like stickers especially: vintage themed, anything out of the ordinary, 🐓roosters and chickens, vegetables fruits but nothing too cutesy (unless you want to send teacher stickers, as my Daughter can always use them). I always enjoy receiving vintage or odd stamped images to use on my ATC cards.

Scrapbooking:

I have scrapbooked my children's lives, so for a total of 25 years. I had to relocate and because of that a good portion of my supplies are in storage. I can always use images that are stamped, as all my stamps are still in storage. So I think it would be fun to see what I could get in swaps! The kinds of stickers I could use would be... Victorian, horses, chickens and roosters, bling, coffee and ☕ teas, Peanuts Characters, Superman and the Justice League, Pokemon..

I have recently started to use a bullet journal..and I love it! Lol. I am using a spiral lined journal..that measures 5 1\ 4" x 8 1x2". It has really helped me in getting me organized. I am still getting mine set up. I would really like to get a clear stamp set of monthly calendars. I also plan on using my planner for financial uses as well. I would really like to set up my journal with some of the financial layouts that I have seen..monthly payments schedule...For my first planner I like this spiral lined journal but now that I know more about bullet journals I think I would like to try a dotted one as it would be easier to draw the lines.

I would like to start an ATC card group for my Autistic Son who enjoys getting mail and absolutely loves learning and being around horses. He also loves Pokemon and Superman!

I also like anything to do with the Peanuts Characters. Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy or any of the characters!! Paper, stickers, fabric....anything!!

My favorite pastime is to sit with a great book and a cup full of coffee or tea to pass the afternoon. Or reading how to create my next quilt after I quilted the morning away! Lol. Boy! lately I would love to find that chair, I think it is hiding from me!

I am starting to swap with the postcard swaps! Thanks to all of you out there who have helped me get some postcards so that I could start swapping!

Some facts about myself:

I have Asthma and allergies. So I try to avoid strong scents in items, especially cigarette smoke. Also please make sure that anything I get doesn't have any pet hair (especially 🐱cat hair, as I am highly allergic)or cigarette smoke, as I am highly allergic!! I am allergic to flowers in tea ☕! ie: Jasmine, hibiscus flowers. So good old berry flavored or Earl or Lady Earl sounds great!

I am a dark chocolate 🍫lover too! Absolutely love 💘chocolate covered espresso beans!!

Fabric favorite prints and colors:

I have looked through my fabrics and something I really would appreciate would be vintage themed and/or floral print.

I love to watch the Nebraska Cornhusker's football team and I also watch the Packers with my Daughter. We can't wait for football 🏈season!

Also I collect Roosters. I have tin, glass and ceramic ones. Old and new ones too!
