I'm a very crafty person. I'm a spinner and knitter living in a little apt. that gives me enough room for me my cat and my spinning wheel. I like just about any fibery thing! I'm a happy 'becoming vegetarian'....I like to shop and eat locally I dislike anything that is sexist or homophobic.I have a love of things that are wierd in a funky kind of way. I love bright colors and especially purple. I am really not into paper crafts myself but I have an appreciation of what other people do.

I love the blues and a lot of music done by women (except Celine Dion!)

I love to read. I don't like 'chick lit' . I love books by women about women. Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Margaret Atwood, Sue Monk Kidd, Jane Rule, Aritha van Herk, Barbara Kingsolver are among my favorites.

As I said before I'm a fiber junky. I love to knit and to play with fibers. I'd be a happy recipient of any natural fiber yarn or fiber! I'm always thrilled to see things repurposed and re-used in new and different ways

Any thing handspun....anything made by hand....teas....coffees (not flavored)....funky jewelry....feminist art.....intense hand cream for dry spinner's hands....yummy and easy vegetarian recipes....fridge magnets(you can never have too many!)....how to books about dying fibers...and really about any fiber related craft (needlefelting?)...knitting patterns for socks...mitts...neckwarmers.
