09/30/2020: I've been away from swap-bot for a while, but the holiday season always makes me want to send and receive mail. 2020 has been difficult and I'm looking to add a little joy to my life (and the lives of others).
01/23/19: I'm looking for someone (or someones) to pen pal with! I'd love a more long term letter/card/etc.exchange.
Edit: I'm collecting wedding themed stickers and items for my scrapbook. We're having our ceremony next October!
I drop my letters in my mailbox and wait until the mail carrier picks it up to mark it as sent.
I love Disney, but especially The Little Mermaid (including the sequel, prequel, and animated series)! I love the Princesses, and most of the modern movies. I'm generally fond of animated movies/series!
My favorite holiday is Halloween (hands down). I love all kinds of witchy/pagan things. My second favorite holiday is Christmas. Since we've moved, I had to downsize my decorations. Unfortunately, I don't have any Halloween decorations anymore!
I'm a writer from the midwest. I have my Masters in Creative Writing, with several works published online and in magazines.
I enjoy reading, making soap/bath products, scrapbooking, coloring, writing letters, cards, and watching youtube videos.
I really enjoy writing and receiving letters, as I assume most people on this site do! Nowadays most people prefer texting or email, but I love letters and cards too much! So I'm always sending friends and families cards and letters, and hardly ever getting anything in return. I thought I'd change that by joining a site of people just like me, who love snail mail! It's always wonderful to see a card in your mailbox. .
Hmmm, what else can I say about myself? I have a dairy allergy, which sucks. No cheese, chocolate, or milk products for me. (I can have eggs. You'd be surprised how many people think I can't!) One day, I'll jump off the deep end and stuff myself full of donuts, Hersey's chocolate, sour cream and onion chips, Taco Bell, and ice cream. It'll be totally worth it.
I use crafting to help with depression, stress, and anxiety. Crafts give me something else to focus on and help me calm down.
