Hey there ! :) My name is Émilie, I am 20 years old and I'm from Québec city in Canada. I am currently an university student in my hometown. My major is International Studies & Modern Languages. I would more than happy to swap and exchange with people all around the world !

I am passionate about many things in life, I like to enjoy every moments. I like school (surprise!), I'm a world traveller and whenever I'm not working, I like to spend time with those who are important to me & work on my projects. Some of my hobbies include watching movies, collecting various objects, reading, biking, music, shopping/fashion, dance, the art and techniques of makeup and so on.

I am new to Swap-Bot (Feb 2014), but I have been having penpals since I started elementary school. I really enjoy it ! I have been swaping with some of these penpals too, so it will be fun to pursue that hobby with new people :)

I listen to a variety of music, from all genres and around the world too. Recently I have been listening to a lot of EDM tracks & Chilean pop music. I like discovering new artists and songs :)

My favorite band since I am young is The Beatles, so it's worth being mentioned ! And my favorite singer is Bruno Mars, I like his music and learnt all the lyrics to his songs (a bit excessive, yeh!) :)

One of my favorite type of books is murder mystery, such as Agatha Christie's books. I enjoy historical books a lot also, and I am always having travel guides or destination books on my nightstand.They help me understand what the world surrounding us has to offer, little by little. It also keeps me entertained over the long Canadian winters and the semester. I read a lot of fiction too, especially historical fiction. In general I enjoy reading most type of books, be it a novel or even a textbook. The only genre which I am not of fan of is fantasy books, except the Harry Potter series perharps.

I am a total fan of historical movies. My favorite in this genre has to be The Pianist. Other than that, most of the time I will be up for a good comedy ! Will Pherell movies for example are always a win in my case. I am a total fan of documentaries too, if that can ever be included in movies. I watch a lot of them on Youtube, since I believe it can help me a lot in my studies (ex: cultural related documentaries) and also I like to be informed. I love Bollywood !
