I am a brand new empty nester enjoying a little extra free time! I have done art, craft and simple sewing since I was young (thanks to my grandma).

I've been married for 22 years. Our oldest is 21 years old and a social work major in his junior year in college. Our youngest is 19 and just started his freshman year of college. He is studying art education.

We have 2 little dogs - a miniature pincher and a miniature dachshund.

I enjoy making ATCs... I vary between preferring hand-drawn / hand-painted projects and mixed media projects. I have recently tried using alcohol inks for the first time and loved some of the effects. I hope to try paint pouring soon!

I do love all things metallic! I don't know why but I am consistently drawn to it. And in case anyone needs to know, I am perfectly fine with glitter.

I just started learning embroidery and like it quite a bit. So I would love a foot or two of your favorite embroidery thread. Also, a little bit of any specialty embroidery thread (metallic) would be fantastic!

I have a new found interest in postage stamps. I admit, I have bought them online when my local post office doesn't have a set that I want. And I've started watching the website to see when new ones are released. Oh dear...

I am drawn to: Dandelions (the fluffy white ones), Art Deco (especially architecture), Music, City-scapes and City Lights, Hot Air Balloons and Kites, Bridges, Rain and Umbrellas, Camping / Air-streams, Foxes, Hedgehogs, Moose, Elephants and Giraffes, Dogs - especially Miniature pinschers, Dachshunds, and spaniels

I do NOT like: Nudity, Dark themes, Profanity, Political themes

** I have Trypophobia - aversion to clusters of small holes. I know it's a little strange, but true!

I love printed paper! But I have too much -

I have crates full of scrapbook paper, interesting book pages (that I've taken apart for art), dictionaries, old sheet music, origami paper, foreign print, etc.

I do not have any punches or die cuts (except 3 sizes of circles) so I am always looking for cut out shapes.

I would be happy to receive any nice decorative stickers.

Well, I love all things coffee! My husband and I enjoy trying new roasts or blends of coffee. However, we do not really like flavored coffees.

My youngest and I are on a coffee shop mission this summer. We are visiting all the local coffee shops in town to try drinks and treats! Yum!!

I have phases when I drink a lot of tea. I do not like green tea. Flavored teas are great - especially ones that are spicy or citrus.
