When I'm not crafting, I am a homeschooling mother to Esme, devoted wife to Ethan, and passionate Girl Scout Leader. I am also a life-long Episcopalian, and typical liberal from Massachusetts. My life right now is pretty much about loving up my family and educating our daughter together. Art is important to me so I make sure to make it a priority in our lives.
Right now I am also super excited that next year is the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting! Juliette Gordon Low is my heroine.
I went to a high school that had an art school within it, and got to spend 2 year in the intensive art program. Several years later, I started rubber stamping with just a few supplies and was immediately hooked. My best friend went to a scrapbooking party in the Fall of 2000 and after seeing her first page I went home and tried scrapping with my stamping stuff. I have been an avid scrapper ever since! In addition to scrapping, I also love painting and doing altered projects. If I had to pick one thing I love most about being a crafter, it would how many friends different crafts have brought into my life!
I LOVE PURPLE, I also love This American Life, Potatoes, Chocolate, NPR Podcasts, Camping, Singing, Teaching and Learning Science, Swimming, Seinfeld, The Office, Jane Austen, Children, Folk Arts, Museums, Irving Penn, Annie Leibovitz, Romance, The Ocean, Streaming Movies on Netflix, Pinterest, Getting Mail (of course), and Reading. Motifs I especially like are trees, owls, and anything celestial.
I HATE Tomatoes, Injustice, Heights, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, The B-52s, and Reality TV.
Scrapbooking, Stamping, Collage, Painting, Light Sewing, other Papercrafting.
I love receiving handmade items, especially ATCs, and my new love, dotees.
My favorite supplies to receive are things I can use to add interest and texture to my scrapbook pages or other projects. I love unusual or vintage items that would be hard to find locally. I am always happy to receive purple crafting supplies!
I do not like to receive things that are rude, crude, or lewd. My daughter is usually standing next to me when I open my packages.
Also, I am allergic to balsam of peru, which is in many fragrances. Because of this, I don't like to receive anything that is scented.
In the last few weeks my regular life has gotten in the way of my swapping - if you received something late, my sincere apologies. As of now, every swap I owed has been mailed. Thank you for your patience!

Hi Jenny! I got your rubber stamped ATC in the mail yesterday - it was so sweet of you to send that! And it was such a lovely card :) Thanks a bunch!!!
Welcome to swapbot!
Hi, Because you have been flaked on in my ATC-free theme swap, I sent you a little RAK. I hope you like it.

Hi Jenny welcome to swap-bot. You should add more information to your profile page. There are suggested topics, which is a good place to start to build the profile. People will hesistate to let you into swaps unless you have more information. Good luck
