September 10, 2020; Short hiatus~
My beloved dog passed yesterday, and as I process my feelings and grief I will be taking a break from swapping. Stay safe, and give your pets extra love~
March 3, 2020; It's a new term!
With classes in full swing, I visit the Post Office every Wednesday to collect mail, so my ratings get done Wednesday night. (β’β‘β’)
Jan 31, 2020: Regarding swaps!
This may come off as petty on my behalf, and I apologise, but it's personal to me.
Before you send a swap, please check that my name is spelled correctly.
I realize it may not be a serious offense to many, but it causes conflicting emotions and puts me in a bad headspace. Thank you for understanding β‘
Hey, there. I'm Adriana and still finding my footing in life. I'm 26, and I'm a renown book hoarder and animal lover.
I live in the beautifully temperamental state of Florida, where it goes from blazing hot to pouring rain in .03 seconds.
I'm currently a nursing student (after many changes in career and educational paths). Took me quite the ride to finally figure out where I wanted to go in life. However, the ultimate fantasy is to live in the mountains, dedicating my life to rescuing and taking care of animals in need, while filling the walls of my home with books and art.
I'm the proud fur-mom of a pit-bull and two kitties. These goofballs are a handful, but I love them more than words can honestly describe, and I can't imagine a life without the rambunctious trio.
If I'm not being a lazy potato, I'm out hiking with my pup, writing to one of my pen-pals, re-watching one of my favorite movies, reading a book, or doing some form of craft.
I love books, and I love hoarding them.
I don't have a solitary favorite book. If I attempted to mention favorite books, I could write for hours. As a general rule, fantasy novels, Beauty and the Beast retellings, or anything that stands out in a significant way can be automatically considered one of my favorite books.
I've read numerous books, and there are only a handful that I haven't loved dearly.
Books I Recommend:
The Oddfits by Tiffany Tsao
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Note: I realize I'm a textbook definition of a bibliophile, and a go to gift would be a bookmark, but I'm well stocked, so I have no need for more β₯
I have an eclectic taste in music, and the genres I listen to are vast. I don't necessarily have any go-to artists, since my musical favorites change like the phases of the moon.
If you're curious and would like a glimpse, these are my current Top 5 songs as of June 2020:
β’ Death Bed by Powfu
β’ Prom Dress by mxmtoon
β’ Soda City Funk by Tim Legend
β’ La Cancion by Bad Bunny
β’ Perdoname by Deorro ft Dycy & Adrian Delgado
If it weren't for Hulu and Netflix I'd be so far behind on shows.
Shows that I keep up with and/or adore are:
β’ Avatar: The Last Airbender
β’ The Handmaid's Tale
β’ Hilda
β’ Steven Universe
β’ Bob's Burgers
β’ Attack on Titan
β’ Rick and Morty
β’ The Witcher
β’ One Punch Man
β’ Brooklyn Nine Nine
β’ The Boys
β’ Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
I'm most likely forgetting a few, but those are what came to the top of my head.
I'm unashamed to admit that I absolutely adore animated films, and will probably continue to adore them until the Earth is no more.
A condensed list of films I've thoroughly enjoyed and consider my favorites:
β¦Β Mulan
β¦Β Howl's Moving Castle
β¦Β Underworld Series
β¦Β Insidious Series
β¦Β Spirited Away
β¦Β Pride & Prejudice
β¦Β Aristocats

β’ Random: Maps. Artistic prints. etc.
β’ Anything strange and/or unique. Usually the weirder the better.

β’ Tea
