I am a Mother, a wife, a daughter, and a person in that order. I love to try new things. I love to crochet, knit, cross stitch, and other fiber arts. I recently graduated with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I started college later in life, but found it easier to complete it this way. I was just offered my first teaching job! I am in charge of the preschool afterschool program! The last few years it was just lunch and play. This year I am going to be focusing on STEM activities. I've had so much fun decorating my classroom and planning for the year. I also part time take care of my Mom who has dementia.
Postcards: I am open to all kinds of postcards. I prefer them sent naked with a little something about you, your day, your home, your culture, or even just a fun quote. But I would never be upset at getting postcards in an envelope. I have no preference on what type of card as I have a PostCard Wall and display all I get there! State Cards I am missing: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesotta, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, WashingtonDC, Puerto Rico
There is not enough room to list my favorite books. I am an avid reader, although I haven't found a lot of time to be able to read. I have recently begun listening to books on tape in the car as I drive. However, the books i listen to are ones i've already read before. So I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting reads/listens.
My all time favorite movie is Labrynth. I"m not sure why I love it, just that it makes me happy whenever I watch it. The Princess Bride is a close second.
I watch tv all the time. I prefer comedies and light fare, but will watch almost anything. I tend to binge most shows. I'm currently binging iZombie right now. My mother and I watch Midsummer Murder every day. I haven't gotten tired of watching it either!
Much like books, there is not enough room to list my favorite crafts. Paint With Diamonds, Cross Stitch, Crochet, Knitting, Sewing, Coloring, and on and on and on. I like trying new things, so I end up trying new crafts all the time. Fave New Crafts: Handmade envelopes
My favorite color is definitely purple with red coming a close second. However, I also love anything rainbow. The brighter the colors the better.
I have received a few recipe cards. I LOVE them!!! They are so cute and get used right away!
I have no allergies. I LOVE chocolate, my favorite candy bar is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Second favorite: Ferrero Rocher. My son's favorite is Kit Kat. There is no other candy other than Kit Kats for him! The hubby's favorite candy is Butterfinger. Teas- I love loose leaf tea. I like to try different types, so far I haven't found one I hate. My hubby likes Earl Grey. I don't drink coffee. I love the smell, just can't stand the taste of it. However, hot chocolate is great, without mint though.
This is not definitive, but just a beginning. If you like it, I probably will too.
