Hi, I'm Jill. I'm rather new to this website and I just happened over it accidentially. I'm still a student, but I'm working towards either entering the medical field or studying animals, though I figured studying in the medical field can prepare me for either.(Until I decide, of course) I like writing, reading, meeting new people, drawing, painting, playing soccer, Doctor Who, and lots of other things. I love writing letters, and I guess that's a big reason why I joined. I'm always open to trying new things :) I speak English natively, I know a significant amount of Spanish, and I wish to learn many other languages.
I love so many different kinds of music, though I mainly like older music. I have a certain liking of The Andrews Sisters, especially -Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.' I like listening to classical, the golden oldies, classic rock, other rock, swing, some country (but not a significant amount), and many others I can't even remember. I am a huge fan of Kansas, both the band and the place, though I have never been to Kansas, the place. I also adore Ben King and Johnny Cash.
I read much more than is good for me. As of now, I have a mission to read lots of 'The Classics', as to further educate myself. One of my favourite books has to be 'The Count of Monte Cristo' by Alexander Dumas. My bookshelf if organized alphabetically, although I really need to fill in the Q and O sections more. I love to read horror and thrillers, but not the kind with the same plot-line, but with a different place and set of characters. I enjoy reading Stephen King, as his stories are entertaining and always different. If anyone has a book recommendation for me, I would love to hear it!
My favourite kinds of movies are those that are supposed to be scary, but end up as incredibly funny because they are so awful. I liked 'Bunnyman' a great deal. I also like comedies, really anything that can either scare me or make me laugh seems like a good movie to me. I also enjoy historical movies, but not all the time.
I seem to spend more and more time reading, so I don't end up watching much tv. A favourite is Doctor Who, I also like Sherlock and Orphan Black. When I watch tv, I often just turn on The Animal Planet or The History Channel, or sometimes Discovery Channel or I.D.
I like creating my own crafts, I'm not really one to find things in magazines or online. I really just make up my own :)
