I'm 59, married 40 years, mom to a son and a daughter and son-in-law and grandmother to a sweet little girl who is 4 and a little boy in heaven. I love to crochet and garden. I love my cat, the USA, writing poetry, Bible study, teddy bears, pretty bookmarks, angels, butterflies, pretty pens, baking cookies, writing letters, crosses, bald eagles, cold nights, the American flag, strong coffee, Amish stuff, naps, soup, freebies, teas, ladybugs, and dark chocolate.

Things I don't like: most dogs, orange chocolate, cheap chocolate, people who join swaps and don't send, snakes, USA bashers, witchcraft, Harry Potter, new-age stuff.

I don't watch a lot of t.v., but now and then something on the Travel Channel, History Channel, or CMT.

Crochet, both yarn and thread. I love to make baby items, prayer shawls, pretty things for my granddaughter, amigurumi, delicate little thread snowflakes and bookmarks and intricate doilies.
