I have 2 daughters (more on them below!) and a wonderful husband. I live close to the beach and I love watching the sun rise above the ocean. I hate winter (I'm originally from NJ and I don't miss the snow!).

In general, my favorite genres are memoirs and mysteries, but I'll read just about anything. I tend to judge a book by its cover, and I am a sucker for thrift store books!

I am a beginner self-taught crocheter. I love learning new stitches and patterns. I'm loving crocheting scarves right now.

I love paper crafts, like scrapbooking, card making, origami and mail art (all on beginner levels!). I'm not into Project Life, but I love to use the project cards as planner dividers, mail tags and to-do lists.

I keep a doodle journal with little notes and words of encouragement for my oldest daughter. It's something I hope to give to her when she's grown.

I've recently gotten into watercolor painting. I have absolutely no technique or training background, but I enjoy putting brush to paper - it brings me happiness.

I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and Google, which means most of my ideas for paintings and mail art are NOT original - if copy cats bother you, you're probably going to hate me (I always give credit and never claim anything as my own, just FYI)

I have no food allergies and I'm not picky - I love to try new things. The only things I don't enjoy are spicy foods/snacks (I can't handle the heat!). I love milk chocolates, hard candies and all types of cookies. I'm a coffee junkie, but I also love tea and trying new flavors. If sending foods, I'd love to try some of your favorites!

Angelina is 8 and is very much a girly girl. Her favorite color is blue. She loves doing arts & crafts and can make use of just about anything (big on recycled crafts!). She's an avid book reader/lover, collects journals and washi, is a singer/dancer/fashion designer and LOVES Jesus (goes to Catholic school). If you happen to have any old kid magazines (Kiki, Discovery Girls, American Girl) she'd be tickled pink, even if it's just clippings of their crafts and true stories. She also likes Country music and country style (boots, brown leather belts, etc). Likes Girl Meets World, Dog With a Blog, Disney Movies, mermaids, fairies, Lemony Snickets and saint artifacts/stories.

Evy is 3 and (as 3 year olds go) generally loves everything! Her favorite color is pink, she loves princesses, mermaids, minions and Ninja Turtles. Her favorite craft is painting (she went through 2 watercolor paint sets this summer!). Favorite movie at the moment is Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings, favorite show is Max & Ruby. She hoards decorative envelopes for her 'pen pals' (she thinks pen pals are decorated pieces of paper). She has a huge sense of humor and loves to make people smile.

My girls don't eat candy often and don't like tea, but there are no food allergies.

If you happen to get me for a kid-related swap, it would be extra awesome if you could address the mail to Angelina - she loves that I get great mail art from my pen pals and I think she'd be over the moon to get something for herself!
