I was very into swap-bot last year, and then I got burned-- badly-- in an angel swap. I'm thinking about coming back very gradually, and hoping that by keeping it small I can protect myself from getting hurt like before

I'm a 26-yr old social worker, researcher, and graduate student in Oregon. I'm also a newlywed! My husband and I moved to the Northwest a couple of years ago from Los Angeles. The pace of life suits me much better, and I'm having a great time cooking, baking, and gardening-- things I never had time for (or knew how to do) before we came here. We have a rescue dog (a 2-yr old rescue dog, a basenji/husky/shepherd?? mix named Oliver). He's always putting smiles on my face!

Sometimes I feel like I relate better with the 5-yr olds I work with than with adults. I'm just a big kid at heart. That's me in a nutshell!

I've enjoyed my time on swap-bot so far because I love to give and to make people smile :) To receive something in the mail for myself is an extra perk!

• regarding colors: I like 'em all (except neon and metallic colors). My favs are vibrant like grass green, sunny yellow... you get the idea :) If I had to pick one, it would be light blue or yellow (I guess that's 2--oops!). I especially love interesting combos like aqua and red.
