Response: Ah, good! I love that image of the kids reading. And foreign text is one of my favorite backgrounds.
Response: Great - glad you liked everything. When you announced 'vintage,' I knew I would be doing the swaps.
Response: Good - glad you're happy with everything! I have a tough time stopping when I'm pulling out stuff from my stash. Have fun. :-)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I liked including a number that didn't really relate in any way to the rest of the ATC, so I may do that some more. Look for packs of the sleeves on Amazon - they're under $20 for a pack of 100.
Response: I'm glad you like it. I was really happy with that card. I'm taking more chances trying new techniques and it's (mostly lol) working out well. Have fun.
Response: Yeah, he cracked me up and then I found the Italian sentence and they seemed perfect together. Doesn't have much to do with buttons but what the hey...
Response: You're welcome. Did it only just arrive? I mailed all of them back in the middle of June so it must have got hung up in the strike.
Response: I love that one too! I knew I wanted to do something sarcastic and when I saw her holding that stupid potato thing, I said Bingo! Glad you like the foreign text - I love it for ATC backgrounds.
Response: Your favorite? Wow - thanks! Did you get the princess or the queen? I love those book pages for ATC backgrounds and collage bits. The foreign language adds a neat twist.
Response: You're welcome - I'm really glad you like it. That's the first arch ATC I've done. Kind of odd not to have the entire card there. I enjoy working with male images since so much of the vintage stuff is female. I'm working at getting lots of layers on my cards.
Response: That letter... I recently watched the movie About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson. In it he writes a series of letters to an African kid who can't read, and he writes as tho to an old (adult) friend, bitching about stuff. Cracked me up and that was in my head when I wrote your letter. Anyway, glad you liked it and the ATC. Happy arting...
Response: Well, I'm really glad you like it cause I loved it. I worked on it steadily as soon as I joined the swap and the various pages just sort of happened each time I sat down with it. Never had to struggle to think what to do next. Makes me feel good to know it went off to someone who'll enjoy it. Be sure to email me now and then with pages as you do them. Or will you post on a blog?
Response: You know how sometimes something just comes together sort of all by itself, you're just the facilitator? That ATC was like that. I loved it and almost sat down to you make you a diff one LOL! And I love old book pages for ATC backgrounds, but that's my oldest one, I think.
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it - birds are the one thing I can actually draw pretty well.
