Comment: Restaurant week sounds so simple in NY here in CO there are three different price ranges but each place only has one of the three-you can find a list if what price they are but not the meal, necessarily. It seems too involved so we avoid restaurants that week, lol. Thanks for the reprint vintage mini ad!

Comment: Greetings from Japan:) Thank you for the Star Wars postcard! I really like this series of postcards from Star Wars! To memorize Japanese characters, my only and the best advice I can give you is to practice writing them again and again. When I was in elementary school, our teacher made us fill out 1~2 pages with single Kanji character! If we got bad grades on the test, they'll make us practice double the amount until we got perfect grade! It sounds crazy but that's how we learn in Japan haha.

I never have considered visiting New York at Christmas, but I also psych myself out of going to concerts because it seems like a hassle and a lot of people... so I'm not sure it would suit me anymore. When I was a teenager, I saw myself living in a big city, and I still like the idea of it, but I don't know if I could ever give up the quiet of my rural home surrounded by trees.

Comment: Oh how I loved the Beatles when they first hit the radio waves. . .all the teen girls (like myself) fell in love instantly and wished we could marry one of them (my favorite was George) but alas that was not going to be the case for millions of us!! Comment: Thanks for the beautiful holiday card. I can see your love of angels and cherubs as you describe it. I've not thought much about them---partly I believe because I had NO books other than the readers we used in school and church. I lived on a farm near a tiny town of 367 pop. I had no cathedrals to see nor no even books with pictures of them, etc. If I saw any, it would have been been in Sunday School books (I still have ALL of them!) telling the Christmas story.
I discovered children's literature right along with my children, and I swear, we read virtually every one that was prize winner or a classic recommended by my ex-mother-in-law who taught third grade most of her life, and grew up where a library would have had all those old classics (as we view them now). My 5th grade teacher did read the whole "Little House on the Prairie" series to us just after lunch recess and I really loved them because Laura had lived in South Dakota not far from where we lived on the farm. She was an amazing role model for me and one of very few excellent teachers in that little school---our kindergarten class had 6 students and stayed at about 6 although some came as others left until in 7th grade the class was down to 3!!!! I'm sure finding good teachers in that little nothing town was very difficult! So, as I think back to the Sunday School books, most were cherubs except for the angels singing to the shepherds.

Comment: Great PC and it definitely reminds me of a shot that could be of Peter Pan flying over NYC. I've been a fan of Peter Pan since I was 4 years old which means almost 65 years and I have some old stuff from way back then (and even to the late 40s) in my collection. As for Tinkerbell, she was always just the side-kick for me although I do collect other fairy figurines - I do like fairies but it was Peter Pan who I gravitated to . . . always thought it would be so cool to live on an island with lots of little boys and have adventures (yes I was a tomboy!). Thanks again for the great PC and I'm going to put it in my Peter Pan collection because it blends so well ~~

Response: Thanks, Barb! I'm so glad you liked it. As for the little card inserts, I made them. I bought 8.5x11 acetate sheets from Amazon that you can print on. I made a template in word that is just smaller than the size of the pockets, typed it up, printed it out and then trimmed it down to size on my paper trimmer. Cut some cardstock to size and stapled them both together with the twine.
