**All Around the World Christmas Card**

Are we sending our partner a card... or are we sending a new card, not used?

should the cards be written on or do we send them blank?

Also, does "card" refer to postcard or to a folded holiday card?

Cards are to be written in, and they are to be Folded cards.

Can I use ATc cards?

So if you don't want any faith in it, I would think that you don't want the words "Christmas" on it either. It's sad to say that people get bent out of shape over this thing:(

Technically speaking, It would have to say Season's Greetings or Happy Holidays then.

@needlewings it can say Christmas, I love Christmas cards,but the reason I said keep your faith private , it was meant for people not to discuss there religion in the swap to others. I had this happen before in a swap and people got way bent out of shape when the swapper sent the Christmas card and in the inside they decided to discuss what their religion was. And then tell them theirs was a awesome religion to join. @carolinnadias no, these are to be regular Holiday card size No ATC's

My goodness biasbabe are people really that upset getting a Christmas Card that may say "hope you are blessed" or something like that. or even just the word with Christ in it. Unreal! Maybe it should be All Around the World - Holiday card.?

We are talking "greeting card" type holiday cards. I would be thrilled to get a card from a different religion. How wonderful to learn about other customs and beliefs in such a simple way. However, mine will be a Christmas card.

I'm # 140 ~ I wonder what I'd look like if I got to be that old...?

I'm not religious myself, but I definitely wouldn't find a sentiment about blessings offensive - just prefer not to have something that talks about "Lord" or "Christ" because I can't relate to it...but even so, come on a Christmas card is supposed to be something fun, not to get upset about :) I'd rather get a clean religious one than a dirty, dingy secular one, kwim? Either way, personally I'd prefer something Christmas that's not religious but also wouldn't expect someone to go out and buy a new one if the ones they have at home are religious.

I heard that the swap host has been in the hospital. I'm sure she will assign partners as soon as she is able.

No one can step in and assign partners, but if @biasbabe doesn't return by the 6th, perhaps an experienced host can create a new, duplicate swap.

Will this swap resume soon?

I went ahead and changed the sign up deadline for this swap to November 5th, so that @biasbabe has a few more days to come check over the participants and initiate the partner assignment before the system automatically deletes the swap.

Of course, another participant could host a similar swap, as @TC suggests. And participants can still drop from this swap if they are concerned.

Hello everyone I have been let go from the hospital. I had gallbladder surgery and I missed everyone. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you Rachel for adding the extra days and My Dear Michelle for taking care of every thing.

I have went through all partners while sitting in my bed lol and have taking care of everything. So have fun with sending out your cards and thank you for being patient with me.

Thanks You all. I hope you all had a great Christmas. And @suzy I had a package come back to me like that from Canada. It come back through customs like that. They opened it up thinking something was weird in it. No apology from them what so ever. They even opened the little package that was sealed as well.
