Hi! My name is Ella Stroupe. I live in the United States. Born in Mississippi but have lived in Missouri City, Texas for the past 22 years.
My husband and I have three children ages 30, 25, 24. Two oldest are girls, youngest is a boy. We have two new gran babies. A girl and a boy!
I am a member of Freecycle and discovered Swap-bot through that. I'm excited to be able to meet people all over the world. It reminds me of my teenage years when we used to have pen pals.
I work as a preschool teacher , children are always near and dear to my heart.
.
Music......well I like soft rock, classical, some country. I am so out of the loop with what's in and out when it comes to music.
I love, love, love to read. Last book binge for me was Charlaine Harris' books. I don't think there is any topic that doesn't interest me when it comes to reading. Nothing is too young or old.
I am a sucker for romantic movies. "Love Actually", "The Holiday", "The bishops wife", "Bridges of Madison County".....too many to name.
I LOVE learning how to do new crafts. Swap-bot is going to be such fun for me in that respect. I've already learned a few new ones.
I have done crafts most of my life. Not too much of a sewing clothes person but I embroider, candle wick, sew by hand (its the machine that I'm not good at) and am learning about ATC. It looks like great fun.
Fairies are always a favorite of mine. They are always so beautiful. I desperately want to learn how to draw them better. Sci Fi and Fantasy are interests of mine.
I love earth tones. Peaches, rusts, muted greens and blues. Pink is a fun color too. I'm strawberry blonde so I guess that's the reason for my color choices.
Strong scents give me a headache so I don't wear perfume. I am able to wear lightly scented lotions. Light fruity smells not floral smells.
I'm fortunate enough that I'm not allergic to anything when it comes to jewelry. I could probably wear something made from a paperclip and it wouldn't bother my ears. LOL
I really hate the smell of cigarette smoke and animal hairs.
It's horrible to open up an envelope of nice items to only have to toss it in the trash due to that awful smell.
Same goes for animal hair.
