About Me

Hello. My name's Ari. I am excited to be apart of the swap-bot project. I am an avid reader, cooker, and postcard-collector. Looking forward to swapping with people from all types of cultures, traditions and mind-sets.

I am now back home, right before I begin my masters program. Currently, I work in a non-profit organization where we teach nutrition to students PreK-8th grade! It's a lot of fun, and makes me excited to be closer to my nutrition goals.

While I spend a little time in the "9-5", I want to get back into swapping every once in awhile. Hope to swap with you soon!

P.S. I restrict dairy, meat, eggs and wheat from my diet. Please keep that in mind for any swaps we do together. Thank you!

Idea-List

This list is really like the "ink on the paper". It is something to be read and considered as you sort of get the vibe of me, dissect my photo and just go with your gut feelings. Part of the fun of all this is seeing me through your own eyes.

Comment: It was interesting to see the order of these. Cards 2 & 3 arrived first on the same day, then # 1, then # 5 and finally # 4. I'm going to have to try the key lime pie recipe, as that is one of my favorites.

Comment: Thank you for your wonderful swap! You sent such gorgeous postcards - so colorful and artistic! I enjoyed reading your thoughts too. The comment about time being relative is very powerful. And, summer heat? We've actually had a cool front and will have 80s this week. For Oklahoma, that is absolutely fantastic in July! I wish we could avoid 100s for the whole summer, but it usually happens. Did you decide to go to the amusement park? :)
Response: Heya Tasha, I really wanted to make it a more personable experience. I feel like sometimes people are not cold, but not there. Anyways, I think I shall go with them to the park. It's supposed to be sometime later this month. As long as they go before I have to leave again for school. I'm crossing my fingers for you that it'll be a cooler summer. Have a great fourth!!
