06.03.17 _ Phew! I'm back and ready to swap!

Hello. I'm Sarah. I'm thirty-three years old living in western Washington (state). I consider myself quite an eclectic mess of personality. I'm married (10.31.11) with a hubby & three dogs that I adore ♥

I’ve been known to dive into these crafts: sew/quilting, smashbooking, ATCs, book binding, cross stitching, candle making, crochet (beginner), sketching, zentangles, button making, art journaling.

I’m most likely playing: Munchkin, Arkham Horror, Fluxx, League of Legends, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect series, Titanfall, Bioshock 1/2, PvZ: Garden Warfare, Dead Rising, Destiny, Diablo 3, World of Warcraft.

I'm flipping the pages to: HP Lovecraft collection, The Hunger Games trilogy, A Court of Thorns & Roses series, The Millennium trilogy, The Sandman collection, Jurassic Park, Stiff, Gormenghast trilogy, Fight Club, Hannibal Lecter series, The Crow, Aliens collection. My favorite genres are: science fiction, dystopian, fantasy, horror/mystery, poetry (classic & modern), graphic novels, comic books, and some young adult. Comics: Fire & Stone series, Saga, Sandman: Overture, Wicked + Divine, Supreme: Blue Rose, Low, Fade Out, Dark Engine, Squidder, Trees! I always welcome book recommendations!

l get pretty pumped about: local coffee samples(!), reading in my hammock, Mt. Rainier, caramellos(!), toffee &/or heath bars, dark chocolate(!), postcards not in envelopes, eclectic stamps on my mail, quotes (i keep a journal of them), woodland creatures, washi tape (even samples), funky knee high socks, nice ink/gel pens (black or any colors), Deadpool(!), Lush (esp. 'the comforter') bubble bars, BPAL imps (earthy), crystal healing, yoga(!), fruity smells, new comics, anything odd or unique, creepy ATCs, fruity teas, comic cons, horror genre, positivity quotes for my daily gratitude journal (Filofax), Erin Condren LP accessories, tarot decks, and velvet bags.

I'm sipping on: coffee and tea! my preferences to both are: [coffee] medium/dark, preferably whole bean, unless ground for a French press. Seriously though, I'll try any samples, just not much into the flavored coffee. I also have a Nespresso & LOVE it! Hit me up if you want to trade pods! [tea] I'm finding that I really swing towards fruit teas; peach, mango, pineapple, strawberry, dragon fruit, blueberry, raspberry, apple, plum, etc.! Other favorites are chai (for my hubby) and hibiscus(!). I canNOT do these: green tea, lavender, chamomile, ginger. I'll try any tea once though, if it's not on my no-no list :) I recently found that I enjoy the fruity Greenfield teas a lot!

I find myself not enjoying: stickers (unless of a fandom I like), the smell of vanilla & lavender (it triggers my migraines), religious/bible material, cutesy/girly items unless I've joined the swap, grapefruit, coconut, hazelnut, pork or dairy (i'm lactose intolerant) [but i'm always willing to try a recipe that calls for either of those for my husband].

Big, giant list of randoms:

1. I love photography. I'm slowly taking classes along with graphic design. It's always a learning process when using the manual settings!
2. I love all things sci fi. Except the ’space western’ genre, aka Firefly :\ My husband loves this show though.
3. I like comic books & graphic novels; you can find me in a comic book store for quite some time geeking out & trying not to buy too much.
4. I have a massive arsenal of recipes, but there is not enough hours in a day! ♥ recipe experimenting.
5. Coffee is not just a treat, it’s a life force!
6. I love me some FPS multiplayer!
7. I love the planner community, so much that I started an Etsy shop selling planner stickers. I love it and all the people that I have met along the way!
8. I'd love some pen pals if anyone is interested. Just PM me if we have anything in common; I never mind writing first!
9. Halloween means a lot to me. It's the day I married my best friend & it's when I've always(!) celebrated my birthday with my family (it's a few days before). I always(!) carve a pumpkin & watch the Shining. I ♥ all aspects: spooky, horror, cutesy, gruesome, fun, candy, dressing up, changing of the season, pumpkin patches, etc.
10. I collect postcards so I guess I'll put a list of ones I like: books/reading related, dachshunds, ocean views, nerdy/geeky, anything relating to my likes above, video games, quotes, creepy/odd/strange. I'm not fond of city views, but I always enjoy a PC depicting your region!
11. My violin is one of my passions and I took lessons for a year+ before we recently moved. It's been a dream of mine to learn to play; I love it ♥
