I love the "buttons" pc, haven't seen one like it since I was at the museum in Golden Gate Park years ago for the 50th anniversary of the hippie days. I remember when I was young, my aunt would always send me Penguin books for birthdays and Christmas. I was such an avid reader back in the day! for years, in high school, one a week. Guess I had no life (no crafting life at any rate!).... lol. The cabbage pc is very beautiful. I love ornamental cabbage. I don't mind the eating kind, either!! and the extra, the Japanese one is fantastic. I recognize a few of the words but it is in katakana or is hiragana?, and a lot of that is modified/or stay the same from the Chinese. it's been almost 30 years since I was in Japan. My friends in Okinawa said even some of the Japanese can't read it! Thank you! wonderful pcs 😃 I hope if I get you for a partner that I will not disappoint.

Comment: Yes, I am just receiving your postcard you sent the 10th of February. I'm convinced my post office hates me. I'm also receiving other swaps sent in February. Perhaps they were holding on to your postcard to send it closer to Halloween. IDK Thank you for the postcard. I like being able to dress up for Halloween as well. No one cares if you forget to comb your hair.

The top one was for me and the other was supposed to go to Arizona. I sent it along in an envelope and the recipient wrote me back to say thank you.

Comment: I love the stamps! How long have you had those? The 2006 one with Franklin looks new! Have you gotten socks when they're on sale at Jo-Ann Fabrics? I loved them but they basically only come in dollar tree sizes, 8 or smaller. x.x Still, they change every 1-2 months.
Response: I think I inherited those Ben Franklin stamps from my aunt. She bought multiple panes of things she liked. I never knew Joanns sold socks but I might check that out.

We did a taco pizza once and also a mac and cheese pizza and one time even tried a mashed potato pizza! It had bacon, chives and sour cream. A little weird but hey...no mushrooms! 🍕🍕

I liked your dog sticker- I like how your dog and cat had breakfast then went back to sleep so you could do your thing. Funny. /I received your second card today. Thank you! but it wasn't necessary. I did like your choice of greens used on the card. It looks like the machine attempted to eat this one as well, as one of the corners was ripped. The post office needs a good technician to fix the machine. My husband would fix the ones at Sony Disc Manufacturing so the booklets would not tear when they were inserted with the CD's. Thanks for sending and resending. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Comment: Oh I love the old school style pc you sent and I especially love the mix of vintage postage you used! I'd never heard of Hot Springs National Park - sounds cool though! My hubby and I are on a 50 states before we die mission and we haven't hit Arkansas yet so maybe we can go there when we eventually make it that way. (P.S. Sorry for the late rating on this - I had a chunk of PC's that accidentally got put in a folder in the bottom of my incoming mail tray and I didn't realize they were there! )

Comment: WOW!! I cannot believe how amazing this set of PCs is for me. Of course I loved the bonus Wreck-It Ralph and the great stickers, but an especially neat surprise was the Bodie Island lighthouse. No one has ever heard of that, compared with the more famous Cape Hatteras nearby, but Bodie was the first lighthouse I ever visited and is super-special. How cool!!
Response: I love serendipity. When you happen to pull just the right card for the right person. Bodie Island was one I had gotten from another swapper and I'm so happy to be part of the connection :)

I can see why you your sent the Ugly one of "Disarm yourself" PC. It really is Ugly. I don't anything to do with War! I loved the Vintage stamps you put on the PC. I'm always buying those from Etsy. I thin kit's neat that you worked for a stamp dealer...is that part of what interests you about mail/swapping? I also thought how you drew the butterfly out of the sticker. WAY COOL! Best, Rick
Response: I'm so glad you liked the card. It was a fun one and making the butterfly wings by cutting the dot sticker in half was just a whim. I was gifted a ton of stamps by my aunt who would informally collect sheets she liked when she was at the post office. I started on Postcrossing with postcards I had bought on work trips. It's now two months later and I'm obsessed. I've bought so many more postcards and stickers and washi tape. I'm getting artsy with it and having so much fun.

Comment: Thank you for your swap. I hated the final season of X--Files. It was a mistake. I know Gillian Anderson left the show after season 11, so there wasn't much they could do with the storyline. I will watch the reruns, except for season 11.
