Response: I'm glad to hear you got through the hurricane and doing well. Take care and happy fall!
Response: My mom always gave out little boxes of sunmaid raisins for Halloween. We joke now, but as kids we were so embarrassed our house was the only one on the block that didn't give candy.
Response: Oh no! I'm going to resend.
Response: That was fun to figure out the four made almost exact postage. I hope I placed them in a way that they got a good cancel mark.
Response: Isn't it cool? It was gifted to me in a RAK. I got several more of individual photos of the cast. I never watched Lost on tv but I took the opportunity to binge watch it on Netflix.
Response: I'm flattered but I can't take credit for the cats. It's a washi tape I bought from a local artist named goyangii at a night market. She sells postcards, too. My own art skills are limited to stick figures
Response: I am excited for next year's Eurovision but I'm still listening to Europapa at least 4 or 5 times a day. They treated Joost Klein so unfairly. My other faves were Baby Lasagna and Bambi Thug.
Response: I wish I could say I wrote it but then I would have agonized for days and never come up with anything. I used chatGPT.
Response: Oh wow I'm glad it arrived. Feel free to message me if a swap hasn't arrived in a few weeks. I'll always resend. Who knows how the post office manages to misplace things and then they mysteriously reappear lol I once got two postcards stuck together. The top one was for me and the other was supposed to go to Arizona. I sent it along in an envelope and the recipient wrote me back to say thank you.
Response: You're so sweet. I'm glad you like them. I have a lot of fun creating them and using the old stamps for inspiration.
Response: Awesome I'm glad the resend made it. I hope the first one turns up some day. It was so pretty. It would be so funny if my putting 2023 was why it's lost
Response: I think I inherited those Ben Franklin stamps from my aunt. She bought multiple panes of things she liked. I never knew Joanns sold socks but I might check that out.
Response: Oops, yes that was me. I chose the snow capped mountain postcard from your profile list. Good thing I at least remembered the swap name.
Response: I found it searching quotes on Goodreads. I thought it was a beautiful metaphor. A poem. Then I read it again a few hours later and I realized April is a person and it's just a passage from a book. It was too late to change it. But I still think it's pretty if you read it as a poem lol
Response: That might qualify it for unloved. Next time maybe I'll try for weird. Although that one is also pretty subjective. ;)
Response: I bought the signature stamp on Temu. Very inexpensive.
Response: I'm sorry. This is the first feedback ive had about bent corners. Would you like me to resend? Is there a product or method you recommend that works better than the large stiff cardboard I use.
Response: Oh my gosh that was delivered so fast. I hope it held up in the postal system.
Response: I'll resend. Half a card doesn't count lol. It will go out tomorrow AM. Enjoy your turkey day :)
Response: Oh my gosh. It didn't even occur to me. Lol I've sent myself postcards before just to test when things get postmarked at my various local offices but it did seem weird I just went with it. I feel so silly. I'm going to do the swap again the right way. I'll have it in the mail today.
Response: I love serendipity. When you happen to pull just the right card for the right person. Bodie Island was one I had gotten from another swapper and I'm so happy to be part of the connection :)
Response: I was holding on to it. Waiting. I knew I would find the right person who would love it. I totally love that style, too. You're going to have an awesome collection. I'm honored to be your first contributor.
Response: I know it isnt a chickadee but it reminded me of one :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked the card. It was a fun one and making the butterfly wings by cutting the dot sticker in half was just a whim. I was gifted a ton of stamps by my aunt who would informally collect sheets she liked when she was at the post office. I started on Postcrossing with postcards I had bought on work trips. It's now two months later and I'm obsessed. I've bought so many more postcards and stickers and washi tape. I'm getting artsy with it and having so much fun.
