Comment: OH MAH GOOOOOOOOODNESSSS! That box was ridiculously full of awesome! I had my hands full, I tried to grab it and take it up the stairs. About half way up the muscles in my arm caught fire and just stopped functioning like an arm. Luckily I had back up to come grab the box, but I should have listened to you and lifted with my knees and used both hands. Any who....I finally got the box inside. When I cut it open and folded back the flaps....I was BLOWN AWAYYYYY!! It's like, either we have the same/very similar taste or you really know me and know what I would like. I love all the awesome ephemera and I especially LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL the effing amazing, awesome, wonderful postcards! I especially love the happy bunny, the e-card ones, and the puppy and kitty ones that are sarcastic. Oh oh oh, I also really love the really freakin rockstar stickers you sent. I don't know where they came from, but they look like they were maybe in a book or something....oh I love them! I can't wait to order your stuff and get to make your day like you have made my whole damn week! You're freaken awesome and we MUST do this again soon! A million hearts, a million times over! I cannot thank you enough!

Comment: I don't know why you were thinking that these might not match my tastes... because I LOVE THEM! Especially the Doctor Who ones! The snake card is awesome, 'Tigerish Bean' is very cool and reminds me not only of meditation (which I do) but also of a lot of Hindu deities & I love the drawing of the 2 girls kissing called 'Mulholland Drive'! So happy! :o)

The one of the 'fasionably dressed' gals in 1968 takes me right back - I was 20 in 1968 and the clothes and hairstyles took me right back when I thought I was so fashionably dressed - guess I was since I looked like this PC!! And the PC of the boy and girl figurines is wonderful. . . I actually have one of a little boy that I kept when we sold my parents' house - I remember it being on the bookcase in our living room in the early 50s! Thanks so much for the great PCs and for 'taking me back in time' to wonderful times in my life. Have a wonderful holiday season!!!

Comment: Thanks for the world currency on the ferris wheel postcard. So much more to this card than meets the eye at first! Ever watch the Monty Python "Accountancy Pirates" sketch? And the pigeon card is great, too; I have never considered what a pigeon nest looks like. The pigeon skeleton looks a little irritated, as if someone just swiped the food it was trying to pick up off the street out from under its beak. Thanks for a truly weird and enjoyable swap!

Comment: Thank you so much for the cute snowman postcard! To answer your question: I personally think that knitting is more difficult to learn. But if you ask my sister, who is an avid knitter, she thinks crocheting is harder. So, basically, it is up to the knitter/crocheter which is more difficult to learn. How is that for an answer!? :-) Really, tho, I think knitting is more difficult to learn because it is SO much harder to undo and redo mistakes. Also, there is nothing for the yarn to hook on to on knitting needles so the yarn slips off very easily, whereas crochet hooks catch the yarn. Happy holidays!

Comment: Thank you for the cute card. I have been doing more cross stitch lately but I also alternate between it, plastic canvas, crochet and whatever else I feel like at the time. I wish I could afford to subscribe to some of the British cross stitch magazines but I can't so if I have some extra I go to Barnes & Noble and look at the newest ones and occassionally get one or 2.

When I lived in India, I loved sweet limes - they are spherical and look like bright green oranges. And the juice tastes like grapefruit juice. These came to mind when I read the quote - it's a lime that had a chance!

Comment: The TWO bags were terrific - loved the "I see London" tissues best of all. You also gave a RAK today, though you did not know it. We are still living in the hotel and the housekeeper has become a friend. Today she told me her mother in law had died, and her husband is so very sad -- he did not get home to Haiti in time to say goodbye. So the little angel coin you sent me went home in her pocket, to be a little message to her husband that his mom, Bebelle, is with him still. Angels are, indeed, all around me.

The postcards were printed by Colorful Images. I meant to get them plain, but mom ordered them personalized... twice(she could have got them plain when they messed up the spelling of my street, but she forgot again, lol)! I hid it in my dresser for when I need a sugar fix :) The matchbox is great and I love all the goodies, and that owl bead is amazing, how on earth did you ever part with that? Did you know that the Halloween embellishments only spell alloween, I wonder if somewhere there is a poor H all alone and scared? But I love it just the same. Have a spooktacular Halloween.

Response: You're welcome! I don't have a lot of "used" sticker sheets, so I generally send full sheets. Cut stickers are from full sheets as well; I only cut them so they'll fit neatly.

Thank you for the stamp too - I didn't have any house mouse stamps yet! And I love Beatriz potter too - perfect!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I found the book and puzzle at a small party store called (LOL) The Small Party Store. I have another puzzle if you'd like me to send that to you (the store only had two left, so I bought them both). I only sent one just in case you didn't like puzzles. Oh, if I had known you didn't have any stamps, I would have sent an ink pad too. Sorry! :)

Response: So glad you liked it! I wasn't sure what was considered a "sheet," so I decided to a lot to be on the safe side. I decided on 29 sheets since that's how old I'll be this year! LOL
