Response: Your'e welcome! :)
Response: You’re welcome! I got that postcard as part of a set being funded on Kickstarter years ago. I thought it would be perfect for you!
Response: You're welcome! I thought you might like the leopard. :) I noticed how close we live to one another - are you a Postcrosser? The local San Diego Postcrossing group has biannual meetings! You should join us. :)
Response: You're so welcome! I try to find cards that match the swap AND the recipient. :) Happy Swapping! ~Jen
Response: You're so welcome! Yes, the treats in the trunk are definitely the best. :) Though I thought you might like the frogs, too! I'm so enjoying these swaps. I'm glad you're hosting them!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked what I picked -- and I'm glad it got there so soon after I told you that I had forgotten to mark the swap as "sent" but that it had gone out on time! I was a little worried you would be suspicious of me ... I would be! LOL :) Happy Swapping! ~Jen
Response: Yay! I'm so glad!! :)
Response: I'm glad you like it! :) Yes, everyone has recovered from Irma, thankfully. Thank you for asking about them. Happy swapping!
Response: I'm so glad you got the re-send! I'm really bummed the first mailing didn't get there -- I hope it does show up! Perhaps it was mistakenly delivered to a neighbor who was on vacation for a month, who will sheepishly deliver it to you next week with apologies for the delay. A girl can hope! :)
Response: I enjoy photography and I appreciate art; I also collect fountain pens (I don’t know anyone else who does); lettersets are great – I am always on the hunt for onionskin paper; I enjoy vintage-style postcards and postcards with funky, colorful art, maps, and illustrations; I love washi tape (and I used to love washi swaps, except I got flaked on too often); I also can’t stand the smell of smoke; I don’t like bananas (though I think you really HATE them) and I don’t eat grapefruit. We disagree about purple, though. I LOVE purple. :) Yes, let’s swap postcards!
Response: Oh wow - small world! I love watching the fireworks show, especially with good friends. :) Funny thing, the other card I was going to make and send was from Comic-Con - another San Diego staple! I hope you're having an excellent summer in North Carolina. Happy Swapping! :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! The San Diego Postcrossing group is having another Meetup on July 30 - I'll send you a card!
Response: It WAS the best! Made better by being with such great friends. :) I was a little embarrassed by all the bottles in my recycle bin that week, though...!
Response: I'm glad I'm not alone on this! :) Happy Holidays!
Response: Thanks for the heart - and for understanding when I got sick! I'm gad you liked my log. :) Happy Swapping!
Response: Thanks for rating - and for the heart! :)
Response: I'm so glad! :)
Response: I've been told I'm a pretty harsh critic ... But I really do love to read! :)
Response: I really hope you like the Alchemist! The other book isn't really my style, but I know that different folks have different tastes! :) Happy Swapping from a fellow Whovian! :) ~Jen
Response: You're welcome! If we have similar reading tastes, I'd love to see your reading log (if you're down to share). Thanks for the heart!
Response: I picked up the Galbraith book on a recommendation by a friend - it's VERY different from the Harry Potter books, and definitely meant for an adult audience. But if you're down for a good sleuthing novel, I recommend you try it! :)
Response: Those recipes are pretty much my three favorites. The soup is probably better once the summer is over, because it's served hot, but you can experiment with it cold, too! The other recipes go like hotcakes. Let me know if you make them! :)
Response: I hope so, too! I've been to Italy, but not specifically to Sicily which is where my family is from. A trip to Sicily is definitely on my "bucket list," though!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad it finally got there! I'm always down for a book swap - though I have to say, much of my reading material comes from my local library. :) I'll send you a message and we'll see if we can't find a way to swap some good books!
Response: Oh wow, that's crazy! Well, I'm glad I picked a couple of good ones for you. :) Have a great time using them!
Response: You're welcome - glad it got there! :)
Response: I'm so glad! Thanks for rating - and for the heart. Let me know if you read any of the books I recommended!
Response: I'm so glad you like it. :) I love Doctor Who, too! Thanks for being such an awesome swapper!! Swappers like you make Swap-Bot such an enjoyable addiction ... erm, I mean, hobby! :) I hope to swap with you again soon!!
Response: You're welcome - thanks for the heart!
Response: Aren't those great?! I love them! Post offices around the world do really great things with stamps, don't they? I recently got a Postcrossing stamp from Guernsey and was THRILLED!! (Do you know about postcrossing.com?) Have a great weekend!
Response: You're welcome.
Response: You're welcome! Glad you liked it. :)
Response: You're welcome!
Response: Awesome! I'm glad you liked everything. :)
Response: I'm so glad! Allons-y! :)
Response: You're so welcome! I love tea, so I was happy to send a few to someone who shares in my fondness. Thanks, also, for the lovely note. I just responded. :)
Response: Yay - they finally got there!! I'm glad you like them. The third re-send is still on its way, so it's a good thing you liked the tapes, because you'll be getting some more of them!! :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. :)
Response: You're welcome! :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad it got there safe & sound. Happy swapping!
Response: I'm glad you like them! I think it got to you really fast because we're both in San Diego. Thanks for the heart! :)
Response: Haha, waiting for January is overrated! :) I'm glad you liked everything. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked the picture. I took it when I was visiting family in San Francisco. Now, although it doesn't depict any of my family members, I think of them whenever I look at it. :) Happy Swapping!
Response: I'm so glad you like them! :) I'm sure your swap will be here in no time. Looking forward to it!
Response: You're so welcome - I'm glad you like them! :)

Response: I'm glad. Yep - quirky - that's me! :)
Response: I'm glad you like them! I think they're fun. I like the Janis Joplin stamps, too. :)
Response: Thanks! I hope you liked all of them. :)
Response: You're welcome - I'm glad you joined the swap! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked the swap! I love that card; the ladies seem so elegant and the outfits are so vibrant and delicate. Happy Swapping!
Response: My car's name is Cole and he is a BADASS!! :) He's a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, and I love the feeling of downshifting, flooring the gas, and passing everyone on the road! :) He doesn't get mad at me, much, but I also baby him... I also managed to find the most awesome mechanics to help me care for him. They're part of my "family" and get a Hanuchristmakwanstice card from me every year! :)
Response: Yes, it's true, I confess that I love going to the dentist! My friends say it's because my dentist is SUPER HOT, but even before I found the very sexy Dr. D'Angelo, I loved going to the dentist and coming away with squeaky clean teeth. Yep, I'm weird! That's why I came up with this swap. :) Thanks for taking part!
Response: Haha, so true! I chalked that up to it being a postcard from the 1950s, when men were more apt to wear suits no matter what they were doing! Seems like he would get really hot, though!
Response: I'm so glad! :) I love the Blind Surprise Swaps, though I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop signing up for them. The cost of postage is high and I got flaked on (again), so until things start looking up, this will be my last one in that series. But I'll be back! :)
Response: Rachael: I think I was as pleased to find it as you were to receive it! You can see now why I sent you a message about opening the wrapping carefully! :) I will try to join your next swap, if circumstances allow... Happy Swapping!
Response: You're welcome! I love puns. :)
Response: I'm glad it got there at long last! :)
Response: You're welcome! :) I also made the little magnet - it's the "super-strength" kind, so it will REALLY stick to the fridge. I like that feature because I'm always putting stuff up and I hate when it falls down! Happy Swapping!
Response: Haha, I will take you up on that! :) I'm glad everything got there safe and sound. Happy Swapping!
Response: It's a great book; I definitely recommend it! :)
Response: You're welcome - I'm glad you liked it all! Thanks for the heart. :)
Response: I'm so glad! I truthfully wanted to keep it for myself, but it felt good sending it!
Response: Wow - I have no idea what went wrong here. I put the postcards in the mail earlier in the day before I marked them sent. Typically it doesn't take two days for the post office to process them. :( Thank you for the benefit of the doubt - I did send them out on time. I'm sorry you have two other post cards that have not arrived yet. I am the same -- waiting on two. I hope we get them soon! :)
Response: You're welcome - thanks for the heart! :)
Response: You're welcome - thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so glad! It's one of my favorites, too. The proprietor at my local newsstand usually sets a few really cool cards aside for me because I'm always spending a ton of money on his cards! :) You can also get them here: http://www.authentic-cards.com/karten.html. Happy swapping!
Response: You're welcome - thanks for the heart!
Response: You're welcome - thanks for the heart!
Response: I just love the zoo! :) I went to Oklahoma once, back in 2001. I thought it was lovely there. I'm originally from Florida, so I understand hot and humid summers! :) Happy swapping!
Response: I'm so glad you like it!! Unfortunately, I think the practice may be stopped... A portion of the Pont des Arts bridge collapsed recently under the weight of the love locks!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it!! :) Dwell is one of my favorite magazines, although I confess I have absolutely no talent for interior design or decor. I make my friend Mykee help me design my place - he's got a great eye! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it!! :) I thought you might. I love the Blind Surprise Swaps because you wrap everything up before you know who your partner is - it's a trip to see who likes what! I wasn't really sure how to wrap up money (I know a lot of people collect foreign currency) so the wallet was the only idea I could come up with. I'm glad it worked! Have you ever been to Turkey? Istanbul is a wonderful, wonderful city. I am in love with it. :)
Response: Glad you liked it! :)
Response: Thank you! This was definitely a feel-good swap! :)
Response: You're welcome. The little green turtle is so cute. I wanted to keep him, but I'm glad he went to a deserving home. :)
Response: I'm glad it got there - enjoy! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Don't worry about the late rating - I'm just glad it got there safe and sound. :)
Response: I'm glad you liked everything. :) The scent of that candle is one of my absolute favorites! And that magazine... You know how you're supposed to make presents of things you really want to keep? Yeah, that! :)
Response: Aw, thanks for the sweet comment. I'm glad it got to you - I was starting to worry about how long it was taking! :)
Response: You're welcome! Glad you liked everything. :)
Response: No problem - I hope you're feeling much better!!
Response: I'm so glad! :)
Response: You're welcome!
Response: Aren't those cards great?! I just love them. They're so unique. And they're in French! I get the best reactions to them. Glad you liked yours!
Response: You're very welcome! I just love big swaps. :)
Response: There's no better place to live, in my opinion! :)
Response: If you like historical fiction, that one is a must-read for you! :)
Response: You're welcome!
Response: For sure -- tea and a good book is one of my favorite things, at any time of year!
Response: Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm glad you found it interesting. I was a little hesitant to send such a long letter, but in the end I went with my gut. And you got some extra bedside reading out of it! :)
Response: You're welcome. :)
Response: You're welcome! Glad you liked everything. :)
Response: No worries! Thanks for the rating. :)
Response: I'm so glad you like it! If you've never tried tempeh, I recommend it to you wholeheartedly. I LOVE it. Some people consider it an "acquired taste," but not me. The very first time I tried it, I loved it. :)
Response: I'm glad it got there with no problems - I was a little worried about the stickers. :)
Response: Thanks for the rating - I was so worried it hadn't arrived and that maybe you though I had flaked! Glad you liked p. 49. I have now finished the book and can say I really liked it and would recommend it to anyone. I hope you get the chance to read it!
Response: I'm SO glad! :) I hope you enjoy everything and think of this fun swapping adventure each time you use one the items.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! The lion was picked out special for you.
Response: I got them at a brick & mortar store here in San Diego called Blick's Art Materials, but I'm pretty sure they have stores all over. They have awesome stuff. Check it out: www.dickblick.com. The postcard set has all kinds of different cards & I am just loving the reactions I get from everyone!
Response: Oh my gosh, my post card made it all the way to India!! I just love that, seriously. My post cards are so much better traveled than I am. :)
Response: Oh, I'm so relieved! I was really drawn to it, but then I was like ... is she going to like it?? Glad you do!
Response: I loved that card! It's crazy how much our work/study ethic has changed since 1953. Now it's all about computers and tablets and smart phones!
Response: I'm glad you like it, Ellie. Yes, it's definitely unique! I've been just loving all of the responses I've received from the people I've sent cards to. I fell in love with the set, but people's preferences vary so widely that the cards might not have all been well-received. So far, most folks have had pretty much the same reaction I did to them. LOVE that. :)
Response: I'm glad you like it, Diane! I went to see the Ducks v. Blues game on March 10 of this year up in Anaheim, CA. (I live in San Diego.) Unfortunately, they didn't win, but it was still awesome to cheer loudly for the Blues in a rink full of Ducks fans!
Response: Hi Sherry - you must have the patience of a saint to do that type of work! Kudos to you. :) Glad you liked the postcard!
Response: Oh, I wish I could speak French!! I tried typing a few phrases into an online translator so I could respond to you in French, but I know enough about romance languages to know the translations were AWFUL! I'm glad you liked the postcard. I love them too. :)
Response: Isn't it wonderful to get mail?? I'm glad you like the elephant. Before I mailed him off, I named him Oscar! :)
Response: Sure thing! Glad you like it. :)
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I remember seeing it and thinking, hmm... that makes sense! I always wondered why my really really old onions start growing green stuff in the center! (Uh-oh, should I publicly admit that I sometimes neglect my onions that long?) Cheers! :)
Response: Aw, sweet. Glad you liked it!!
Response: I just LOVE them!! I was so happy I could send them out and share them with people! :)
Response: It really is quite an interesting read - I don't think that particular page really conveys it! :)
Response: Wow, small world! Glad you liked the postcard. :)
Response: I'm so glad, Amber! :) I WAS a little hesitant to send a 7-page letter, but I figured ... well, if I'm boring someone, they can just toss it in the recycle bin. I'm glad you read it instead! :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it, Shirley!
Response: Oh yes, San Diego is wonderful! I'm a very lucky girl to live here. I'm glad you liked the stamp, too. :) The "Vanishing Species" ones cost a bit more, but they're worth it - not only do they have gorgeous designs, but the net proceeds benefit conservation funds. It's a win-win!
Response: I'm glad you like it! This was officially my first swap, and you are my first rating! :)
