Comment: I think you did a great job on your list ... the important things got done and as for you having fun for a few days, I say GOOD FOR YOU, GIRL! 😀 Sometimes we need that, right?! It's been so long since I've gotten away anywhere and earlier this evening I was thinking about getting a motel room for a couple of nights just by myself in new surroundings (and yet in our same city which is small so it's only about 5-6 blocks or so from where I live.) The problem is, I haven't totally convinced myself that it'd be worth the $160.00 - $170.00 it'd cost me. I can afford it but just seems a bit senseless at the same time (still not sure what I'm gonna end up doing!) Have a great upcoming week! 🌹🌹🌹 Deb

Comment: Good afternoon. Thank you for joining my swap! I have also finished the book I just have not sent out my mail. I agreed with the ending I was in deja vu lmao. This book was a good eye opener to some of the historical aspects and there was definitely some big shockers with the families and what not but overall I don’t think I would NEED to read it again or recommend it.

Congrats on getting most of your list done, and wow, I didn't think to include Swap-bot swaps in the lists for some reason. Maybe it's because I cut down on my joined swaps after December; I used to have 20 "Current In" swaps and couldn't join more but kept wanting to join during November and December times and got so addicted. And now I only have several swaps at most since January. Also, your way of doing filled-in bullet dots for completed tasks is something pretty new for me. I had actually joined another one of your accountability swaps in December 2023, so this is actually my second one from you, and I kind of had an image like it will involve strikethroughs or something for completed tasks. :P And oooh, you joined the "Highs and Lows of January" one... I had THOUGHT to join that swap, but then dropped out and kind of did the list for that swap for myself for half of the month instead. Anyway, that sounds like a lot of home things you got done, and the disco ball for Anna intrigues me and gets me curious :D I enjoyed the list, and thanks for making this private swap possible!! ~Kiyasu)

Comment: This was so fun! "Precocious" is one of my favorite words and I love how you illustrated it with the girl (and her cat!) And the shiny paper is amazing, I think I have seen something very similar so even though it's hard to photograph I felt like I got a good idea of how extra-cool it must look in person!

I have to find books with at least 4 large print copies available, so I'm limited. Last month we read "Swwitchboard soldiers" by Jennifer Chiaverini, and this month its "The childrens blizzard" by Melanie Benjamin. Both historical fiction. I'm a retired librarian and got to meet a few authors, and have dinner with some. Favorites: Karin Slaughter, Jeffery Deaver, Charlaine Harris.

Comment: I've never done avocado dyeing! I've seen a bunch of different natural dye techniques from fibre artists on IG, but I've never done it myself- only tea and coffee, the "easiest stuff." I'd love to do some myself, but then I think of picking up *one more craft...* I love getting papers and fibres from people who have treated their work with these, though! Thank you so much!

I am over the moon with the Longaberger basket- I've never seen one like that before and I have the perfect place for it in my home- my "powder room" is decorated in pink- it will be perfect in there! And the brooches are lovely as well- I will enjoy pinning them on my jackets or bags. I enjoyed your friendly note too- I did read the Beartown trilogy (loved it!) and I have also been to Acadia! Comment: Thank you for your nice note and all the goodies. We have squill, daffodils, trout lilies and redbud blooming in our garden. Neighbors have magnolias in bloom - earlier than down south because the days grow longer faster here and that triggers their blooming.

Comment: I just returned from back to back trips and finally had a chance to get the mail. I loved hearing about the lighthouses, Cape May and Iceland! I’m going to add Cape May to my list since I’m in Boston all the time for my husbands work.

Comment: Great Christmas setup! I love the big Santa...he is almost as big as the tree and I love it! And it is nice getting an advent calendar for yourself after so many years of filling them for your kids :) Our household also has two trees...one is about 7.5' and the other is about 3'. Comment: Thank you for the recipes!!! I make one similar to the Christmas Cracker Toffee. The difference is I use graham crackers instead of the saltines, and i only add butter and brown sugar and the chocolate chips on top!! We love it!!!

Comment: Wow... it was like Christmas morning opening this package! Thank you SO much for the notecards, stickers, postcards, owl socks, and Minnie Mouse dishtowels. You went above and beyond!!! I hope you have a great school year. Middle schools in my county only has part time nurses. So faculty and staff also have to "play" nurse. I always keep bandages and sanitary napkins in my classroom :)
