Comment: The environment is great. I think your coloring is good. The tea is two I have never tried but both sound great caramel especially...I love caramel. Your card is cute too and the bookmark is nice. You were supposed to hand make one but I am not complaining at all. Thanks for the urge to run out and eat sushi. One of my favorite foods.

Response: I have been told the style is like zentangle, but I have been drawing like that since well before "zentagle" was copyrighted, and I have no training in zentagling as it is copyrighted. I always worry that I'm sending the same note that I sent to a partner last time and sounding like a broken record ("spring is here, I love the weather..." etc. !!) We had a close encounter with Lydia the wood duck, who somehow fell down our chimney a few years ago ... and quacked until we found her, caught her (!!) and released her back to her friends on the local pond. Lydia will not soon be forgotten and Woody was a nice reminder of our encounter :)

Response: lol, so I take this means you forgive me for sending a couple days late! I'm glad you so clearly enjoy them. As for the elephant, if you see it, then absolutely yes it's there! Though I have never intentionally drawn an elephant.... Now I'll have to go stare at my pics and see if I can see it too. This is how I get new ideas of images I can put into future drawings! And why I don't usually say what I did intentionally put in a drawing because you may not see it or it may limit what you do see. Your imagination is different from mine after all! Response: Yes, postcrossing is a bit different. Slower in the payoff, but in essence the same thing. You send out 5, wait for them to be received. For each one that is received and registered, you may send out another AND your name pops up in the line up to have one sent to you. So you are sending out more than you receive at any given time, but long term it evens out and is fair. I love the fact that the sand is a beautiful white and very fine much different from the beaches I'm used to up in VA! The part of the beach I go to isn't ever crowded and has plenty of shells that wash up on the shore :D
