Response: Hey there, no haven't read those books. I actually don't read many books. I'm not a huge avid reader of paperbacks, mostly cause with kids they suck up a lot of time and i don't get the headspace to get involved with a book. A magazine is the closest I get to really reading these days. Ohhhh excited to see where the story goes!!
Response: Thank you so much, I was worried it wouldn't be able to be opened. But I wanted to send a few pictures so people could get a sense of what I was talking about. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Awww you made me blush, thank you for the kind comments, hope to hear from you soon.
Response: Thank you! I knew I was up for a challenge sending a kimono to Japan. Would love to swap you for some paper, I can send mint tea!!! Lets organise something.
Response: Thank you so much, it's hard when trying to attempt something you have never tried before, hoping it works. I haven't touched this quilt in a while, I moved house and it is still in a box. And yes it needs to grow taller, not anymore wider!!! I want it to be like a lap quilt size.
I attached the photos with tshirt transfer paper, have used the same idea on baby blocks and the colour doesn't run.
There is a better mag called Australian Quilting Companion!!! I subscribed and really love that one!!!
Response: Thank you so much, it was my first attempt, I did make a few mistakes though! It is a tough pattern if you don't have the correct alignment!!
Response: Glad you enjoyed them, it was an interesting drive around. I had to take the photos from my car, as I had the kids with me, but they enjoyed the drive too, my son pointing out all the angels.
Response: Ewww, rose petal, what an odd flavour. I will be assured to stay away from that one then!
Response: You are welcome. Hope they become a family favourite someday.
Response: Thank you for your kind words. Tobie was a HUGE part of our family, I really didn't realise until he was gone. We all miss him and still today almost two weeks on, I keep looking for him down the hall or catch myself about to call him in from outside. I still find myself keeping a scrap bowl for him of leftover food. It is going to take a while of adjusting to him not being here, but he did come home on Monday, we had him cremated and his ashes are back with us.
Response: ARGH!!!! I thought I had packed them tightly enough that they would survive. Might have to double envelope then next time. Glad you love the package, hopefully you get to try something.

Response: Marles... ABC sauce is also called Kecap Manis and palm sugar is sugar made from the sugar date palm tree. It can be found in an Asian Grocery store, so will the ABC sauce.
If you ever buy the sugar, keep it airtight, if there is any air, you will find it goes VERY hard and becomes impossible to remove from the jar. ABC sauce will keep for years! Tastes great with stews and casseroles too. Let me know if you are able to find it or not.
Response: Hey Sherree, thanks for your kind comments! I chose the wrapping paper and gave my husband specific instructions on wrapping your presents (don't make it look like it was wrapped by a man) before making him rush off to the post office. I'm glad it arrived before Valentines Day, I was worried it wouldn't. Enjoy all the goodies, I had fun making and choosing the items for you. BIG BIG Valentines Day hugs to you!!! Danusha

Response: Thank you so much for your kind comments. I wanted to include my Aboriginal heritage into my wedding, and that was the best way I knew how, certainly was NOT walking up the aisle to here comes the bride!!! Our wedding waltz song was an Aboriginal song too, sung in language. The flowers were wonderful, but heavy!!!
