Response: Thank you so much ! I don't mind at all : I use HP Premium 32 paper for my zines. It's a bit thicker than regular copy paper and has that nice finish. It's a bit more expensive but I think it's worth it. :)

Response: I'm glad you love both of them. As I was dealing with depression, death became somewhat of an obsession. Learning to cope with it, I've come to love life. These two opposite aspects we have to face fascinate me.

Response: This was such a fun swap ! If you haven't found how to smooth the colours : just use a little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and rub it over the crayonned parts.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATCs! They look really good, you got Shin-ah's look just right, and the Classic Link is a really fun design, I actually got inspired to watch a playthrough of the first games again after this, haha.
Response: I had such a lot of fun with both of these. I don't know a thing about Yona of the Dawn but the designs amazes me, they're all so beautiful. The Classic Link started as a joke as I was sketching but in the end, I thought he looked pretty good lol so I just when with it.

Comment: What an absolute joy opening your package. The painted papers and water-colour floral fodder are just stunning. The ATC's are textural and have so much details in the layers. The mini amulet is so clever! The gold leaf on the cardboard background work so well. I think of "gilded grunge" when I look at it. I love the saturated warm colours in the floral fodder card. Thank you so much! Such a pleasure swapping with you while trying our hand at fodder school lessons. Looking forward to our next swap <3

Response: She's one of my favourite characters in Gintama, I love how her cute appearance constrasts with her violent, rotten personality lol ! The series crass humour is not for everyone, but I sure love it. It makes me laugh like as madwoman.

Response: I used to watch the first series in French as a kid. It's available (at least in US/Canada) on Crunchyroll in the orginal Japanese and it's been very fun to watch it again.

Response: Yeah, I wish mail from Canada to Australia was quicker... At least it got there, I was a bit worried. I haven't played Tekken in a long while, so it was super fun to get to draw Jin. ^_^ (I wanted to draw one of the warlocks from Destiny at first but I was too afraid to mess up since their designs is so detailed lol.)

Response: I went to a "Queens of Egypt" exhibition a few years back and it brought back so many nice memories of my childhood, when I was obsessed with Egypt. There's this short series, "Oh, Suddenly Egyptian God", streaming on Crunchyroll and it's a super cute take on the gods.

I actually only watched a few episodes of the anime when I was a kid, but the I remember the cards :P I used to collect a lot of Japanese anime cards (not for playing like yu-gi-oh or pokemon) so I asked my dad to buy some when he went on a business trip to Japan. He ended up buying the exact ones I don't collect, including Yu-gi-oh cards T-T They were Japanese version, so I don't think they can be played in the States. Comment: I thought the same thing when joining the swap what am I doing joining a pastel themed swap I don't do pastel a lot of my work is a little bit darker or more vibrant. Thank you for your ATC I don't know that I could have hand drawn that lady and I love how every bit of the ATC is taken up by color or design, have a good one.

Comment: I liked your tie-dye atc, I wanted to do some shibori techniques too but then got too intimidated by some of the comments. But I love these samples. They almost look iridescent. Thank you Edit: I count shibori as the original, it’s so much older as a technique than any others. I love it.
Response: It's funny how mail reaches its destination when I start worrying about it... I'm glad you like the ATC. I tried various shibori techniques : I took a risk with it, it *is* Japanese tie dye after all ! XD Most didn't come out "right". I had to cheat a bit and alter the fabric with watercolour pens. I think that's why they look that way.
