The partners name one had me concerned at first as I have been reading Jack the Ripper fiction lately but then when I saw the name of the card-Magic-then I understood-sawing a lady in half!!! The ocean themed ATC cards were great as were the Harry Potter ones. And oh my gosh-Loved the mermaid set you set and the extra mermaid die-of which I have neither! Response: Ty.. 3 of the 6 babies passed. Even though I was hand feeding them as well. I got them a new mom and their's was fixed. Come to find out the mom was 4 weeks preg with 5 babies. That is why the babies died.. She had no milk. Feral so I couldnt check her. Ty on the tin. First time with resin and clay. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Comment: Some of the ATCs feature stickers as the main element, which is generally frowned upon. These weren't the pass-along cards; I'm talking about the cards that you made. But this swap doesn't specify "no sticker slapping," so I will rate per swap requirements. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of some of the cards. If you were a newbie, I probably wouldn't say anything, but you've been around for awhile and should know that some of the cards were subpar. If this swap had specified "no sticker slapping," I would have rated a "3."
Response: I don't usually use stickers other than boarders.. If you are talking about "mermaids" or the people things I make those with Sizzix dies and they are not stickers.

Comment: I am rating you a 5 since the swap met requirements and you let me know you would be sending late. However; sending late seems to be a trend with you and some people would not consider being contacted on the last day of the swap as good communication. Perhaps you should not join or host so many swaps when you have 20+ cats to care for. The ATC you sent was basically sticker slapped and could have been assembled in less than hour, so the fact that you needed extra time to get it finished means you have too many other obligations to be in so many swaps. Response: There was no freaking way that is considered sticker slapping. I did not use any stickers on it. And its not a "trend" me sending late. Its happened 3 times this year. Wow A whole 3 times! During my "busy" seasons I don't join many swaps or host that many. Try not to Judge someone when you don't know what is going on..

Comment: received your cute box. unfortunately...it was crushed because you didn't put it in a box that it would ship well in. no need to redo as your rating is a 5. 10-14-12 you sent it in a thin white box. there was no support for the matchbox. I suggest taking a strip of card board the width of the match box and wrapping it around your matchbox before you put it inside your shipping container. this makes a strong support.

Comment: Hi Nathalie, Thanks so much for your cards and congratulations on being a "newbie" and going for it; I think you have a fine sense of design which is a real plus. I genuinely like your cards and since you asked for suggestions I'll say that as time goes on you may want to experiment with filling your space more. I know that my first cards were much like yours, I think, in that they were attractive yet simple. Now I'm amazed at how much can be put into a small area yet still result in a cohesive look. I have taught some atc classes to both adults and children and I often recommend the "123" method which I read about some time ago and unfortunately do not recall the name of the woman who proposed it. It was on a book featuring atcs; anyway the idea is to have 1 focal point, 2 backgrounds and 3 embellishments(charms, trims, words etc) I have found this to be a really helpful method in designing cards even though it needn't be always followed to the letter. For yourself you might want to experiment with more than one background and see for yourself what dimension that can add to a card. The other sugggestion that I would make is that you might want to consider having a more sturdy form for our cards; I know that some people are particular about this and it does assure less likelihood of damage. Comment: thanks for the package... however, none of the animals were woodland creatures. woodland creatures are deers, owls, squirrels, hedgehogs, etc... what i got were eagles, lions, and pigs. they were also realistic looking when i stated on my profile that i do not like realistic looking animals. but, thanks for sending anyway :)
