One question, what is the friendship sheet, I am not sure what to do with it.
Response: If you like, add your address label to the friendship sheet and mail it on to another penpal/mail person. In kind, they do the same and when the whole sheet gets filled, it returns to whoever the sheet was made for (usually the first person listed).

First of all, there are so many things I love about this - before I even open the five items! That postcard is hilarious - the best part is that the postmark is from the British diabetic association! On a postcard with a fat man and a message about sausages! Also, where does one find butt washi?!? I need that in my life as well! Your photos are amazing, and for some reason, I particularly love the half an alligator, lol! Thank you so much!

My parents and I took about two months in our camper when we were moving from Alaska to Washington State. We got to stop and see so much. I loved all the trains in Prince George. I have not been to Laos or Cambodia, but I have been to Costa Rica! That was a great trip! Love your pics - you took your dogs along with you?
About God - we're at the age where friends are dropping dead; makes one investigate that they have the afterlife figured out. Not only does God help reassure me in that area, but he also helps me in this life in such a loving way. I wanted to find out the truth, and I have found it in God and my savior, Jesus Christ.
I watched a movie about the Camino de Santiago; it was very interesting.
I haven't been on any pilgrimage, nor have i been to India. A friend of mine went to Lourdes and brought back water from there. I had a medical issue (post-menopausal bleeding) and before I had gone to the dr. for tests, my friend put a little Lourdes water on my abdomen (over my clothes) and my friends prayed over me. I went to the dr, and the dr was very sympathetic and kind to me; she hugged me and walked me out of her office. I thought this wasn't going to be good. But the test came back negative! I credit that to God's mercy on me.
Our daughter-in-law is also a social worker; she specializes in adoptions. It is very satisfying for her.
I do a lot of card-making. I got enthusiastic when I learned how to make pop-up cards. They take some time to make, but they sure are fun to send! I try to put something on the card that the recipient is interested in or something we experienced together.
I have traded some ATCs and I have to admit they are a little over my head. The ones I got back were so much better than mine, so I decided that was not my gift.
Thanks again for a wonderful letter; I enjoyed it very much!

When I saw it in my box I knew I was in for a treat! Where do I begin? The note cards are amazing! My favorite is a toss up between the chicken and the Will Millar card!!!!! Comment: I love everything you sent! The bookmark is beautiful. And the postcard is very cool! I've been To Stratford-upon-Avon, but only remember seeing the Shakespeare stuff. And they both came from great places - is the Hospice Resale to benefit an area hospice? My dad was in hospice for a very short time before he passed, and they were so exceptional there - made us feel comfortable every step! What a great charity! Thanks so much - I'll put it all to use!

Comment: Amazing photo! You are an astounding photographer. I have always wanted to go to Japan, but haven't gotten to it yet. Isn't it interesting that people with mental health issues are often so creative and so good at seeing things in ways that we may not? I work in a title I school, which for some reason is a magnet for children with mental illnesses. Some of the children I have worked with who are dealing with the first signs of their schizophrenia, manic depression, etc., are the ones who exhibit the best "out of the box" thinking and thrive in times of the day like writing and art. I agree that normal is boring and I try to tell my children that often.
Response: I am so glad you also see this - now to shift this way of seeing into the mainstream!, that would be beautiful.
