I think re-doing challenges from previous seasons makes it obvious these queens aren't as strong as like Season 12.Tina Burner is creepy out of drag-gorgeous in drag.

Since the envelope and letter were the same single page, folded and sealed with washi, it was open by the time it got to me. I didn't get a sketch or picture of the cards you pulled either which I was really looking forward to. However I did really appreciate your detailed interpretation of the reading and felt bad about leaving a 3 given the time you put into the reading itself so thank you for that part!
Response: Hi, I'm sorry it didn't make it there the way I sent it! I didn't want to tape it up too much because I didn't want it to tear when you opened it. I tried to get it secure without over taping :( also, the swap description said you could describe with words or a picture, and my drawing ability is not great and I don't have a great way to print photos, so I thought my description would be the best way to get it across. I can definitely email you a photo if you want to see the cards though!
I can also try to resend, I just didn't have any stationery whatsoever that fit what you like, except for those, which is why I used that. I also just think postalettes are neat. But literally everything else I have is super cutesy kawaii or disney :'(
Anyway, please message me and let me know if you want a photo emailed or if you want a resend. I'm sorry you didn't like it!!

Response: Well, I'm a pretty obviously queer man, so the homophobia I encountered in Texas was very unwelcome (that was mostly in South Padre Island). Dallas and Houston were basically just big, unremarkable cities to me, but some folks love it. Austin and San Antonio seemed to be the only cities with much character. The states I haven't been to are North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Someday!!

Comment: Trippy. PICA. I used to work with the mentally disabled and several of them had PICA. One of them in particular, ate cigarrettes among other things. We had to make sure to put our purses away because he would always get the cigs out. Sure enough, it happened to me several times. What a strange disorder. Is it actually a medical oddity?
Response: I think it's pretty odd to eat non-edible things, so I consider it an oddity. Ew...eating cigarettes. I don't know if that's better or worse than the chalk lady I saw on tv...

Response: Yeah, blog post works for me! Their style is hard to explain. Anthony sings like a girl, which adds to his awesome, and it's kind of heavy but not exactly, and the guitarists obviously listened to too much pink floyd or something, idk. You just have to hear them.

Comment: People in Portland don't understand 'vegan'?? Whatwhat? I've heard that place is vegan paradise! :) Been meaning to visit, but haven't made it up there yet. As for turning down things, I use Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's line: "I don't eat animals or their secretions." Maybe a little over the top, but it's clear, and useful in some circumstances.
Response: Naw, Portland is pretty good about being vegan as far as restaurants go. It's just when people bring things into work that it's hard to explain. Thanks for the helpful hint, LOL!

Response: This person has since edited their comment, it was originally pretty inflammatory and accused me of being tacky and so forth, so I'm revising my response, which was also pretty inflammatory.
I *did* send this PC, as per the swap guidelines, with information and website. I made a homemade postcard from a flyer for an organization that I ran and put quite a bit of effort into it :(. I'm not sure if it got eaten in the mail or what. I reached out to the person via message to attempt to find out what happened and send them a new PC to replace the original, but they ignored my messages. I guess we'll never know what happened to my PC, but this 3 will be here forever :'(

Comment: What an interesting postcard with a cool design. I was just looking at the "Think Before You Speak" website which talks about the pain using phrases like "that's so gay" can cause. On Facebook, I sometimes get an add for t-shirts supporting gay marriage - the shirts say "Marriage is so gay." I totally agree with the thought, but can't decide if it is a good or bad thing to appropriate the "X is so gay" phrase for the cause.
Response: Yeah, GLSEN (the "Think Before You Speak" people) is a pretty rad org. I just go where kids want to be instead of where they have to be ;) (They only do work in schools.) I'm also on the fence with that, but I think it's kind of good to "take back" the phrase. Anyway, thanks for the comment and the heart! :D

Comment: I love everything so much!!! You truly did a great job. From Cabbage Patch, to Care Bears, to rainbows, NKOTB, He-Man, Smurfs, gelly bracelets...it takes me back to my childhood. The watermelon eraser is so cute and I love the neon pencil and colored pencil. It is all amazing. I'm eating the laffy taffy right now!!! I'm feel awful that you had pre-bought stuff and my profile discouraged you from sending it. In general neon aren't my favorite colors, but it does fit the 80's really well. Comment: Sorry the weather was so crappy. Thanks for the PC. I saw Rome briefly from a taxicab on the way to the airport from my hotel. I had planned to spend 2 days in Rome but there were major train issues and it turned into a few hours. The driver did a speedy scenic route to the airport so that I could see a few of the landmarks.
Response: Aw bummer! I've actually never been to Rome, but I literally send at least 20 people there a day when I'm working in the call center at my company (I sub in reservations for a tour operator, but I'm officially a cube monkey in back).
