Comment: Marie--
I didn't receive the swap but I saw your profile and I know you did send it--it just got lost in the mail. I do understand. I hope you are doing better and things are settling down.
Best Wishes!
Comment: Your story was great! It left me wanting to find out more, which is what great stories are all about, I guess! Thanks for the extra story starters too.
Comment: This is the longest and best writing you've sent me. I like it and feel like it's actually a whole short story. Do you feel there's more? Thanks for the many extra starter ideas also. Strangely my other partner also had a "police" scene though, of course, quite different.
Comment: Thanks so much for your package Marie! I know it's not that easy to shop for men but my boyfriend was thrilled to get something in the mail and he loves both movies and chocolate so..it was just perfect! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for so many great beginnings. I really enjoyed reading them and was tempted to start writing immediately but mowed the lawn instead :-(
Comment: Nice to hear from you again. Thanks for the list, it was fun to read. I found the swap an end in itself - turning on a certain part of the imagination. I hope yu enjoyed it too.
Comment: Thanks for the interesting summaries - 6 books by Paulo Coelho and only one with a 5 rating. I think I will read that one and see what the draw is! Thanks for swapping!
Comment: You know, we are a lot alike! One thing, I hang my laundry year-round; inside on racks and outside on lines. Haven't had a drier in 13 years! Thanks for the goodies in the back pocket! Had a great time reading your journal!
Comment: Thank you for the detailed list and the tea. Of the books you suggested, I plan to read Robinson Crusoe and The Innocent Man. I listened to the The Great Gatsby on audio tape about a year ago. I like reading the classics in this way.
Comment: Thanks Marie. I've been to NC LOTS of times and I even found Bethany Crossroads on the map. I try to make sure I get dh to stop and get a container of good NC barbeque whenever we get down to North Corolina. ;-)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your lovely poetry with me! I was pretty nervous when I signed up for this swap, just because poetry is such a personal thing and you never know how someone else will respond to your poetry (at least that's how I feel about my poetry). So I really appreciate you sharing yours. And I sincerely enjoyed reading them, especially "The Unicorn!"
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcard, you wouldn't catch me rafting either but it sounds refreshing! I've always wanted to go to North Carolina - thank you. Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard of the Carolina moon. What a neat place, I'd love to visit there sometime. Happy Swapping to You! : ) ~*~Brenda~*~
Comment: Marie
Thank you for the wonderful card from North Carolina. Just think, you have the whole wonderful summer to take the kids here and there. Isn't is wonderful to get mail from people all over the country?
Robert (Bobberdilly)
Comment: What a lovely card, though it did make we want to live in a mansion (my wee bungalow seemed a little smaller). I really enjoyed the Oscar Wilde quote as well. Thanks very much and I hope that you have a great week too : ) Best Wishes Kim
Comment: Marie, Thank you so much for sharing your life with me through your beautiful journal. I had so much fun reading all of your entries, and have gone back and reread the entire thing over again. My favorite was your love story entry. So sweet.
Comment: I recieved your list and you had some very good ideas for things to write about. They will be great for me to use in my journal that I'm sending out..THANKS!!!!
Comment: Thanks for the log -- yeah, you kind got on a roll with a couple of authors. But the point of the swap is to let others see what's being read, and you did. Did you see the movie of The Alchemist? It wasn't very popular, probably too un-Hollywoodish.
Comment: Thanks for the North Carolina postcard, with the great "...believe in the beauty of their dreams." quote from Eleanor Roosevelt. Love that one.
Comment: Thank you for the letter. I was glad to hear you had fun at the concert. I've actually hung out with Wes from Puddle of Mudd before and he's CRAZY but in a fun way. :)
Comment: Received my package today--thank you for all the nice gifts. I love the stationery and candle holders and want to learn how to use the hair sticks. :)
Comment: Happy Holidays!! Thanks so much for your list. I wish you the best of luck with it in the New Year. I would love to stay in touch. I apologize for the delay, I was in the middle of a move and I had misplaced the box with your letter. I wanted to find it first before commenting. Sunshine and Smiles from California. :)
Comment: It was interesting to read your list and see that a lot of the things were also true for me, but then a lot definitely weren't! I think your IQ result must have been accurate - I'm especially curious to find out which languages you speak.
Comment: I enjoyed the green tea while reading your list. I enjoyed your list - I can see you truly enjoy the little things in life, and that's nice to see! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks! I've only read a bit of the journal so far, but I look forward to reading the whole thing. Thanks for the little extras too. The Pooh stickers are cute :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the extra goodies! Sorry to hear about your sister, I think she will look back and regret not being more aggressive. It is so important for her to take charge and stand up for herself so she has some control over the custody arrangements for her kids. Hope you can get through to her :)
Comment: Thanks so much! I received it yesterday. I enjoyed reading through your list. I have watched about 37 out of 100. Thanks for printing it out on lovely paper. I would award you a heart but they aren't available yet. When they do I will =)
Comment: Marie, Your small community sounds charming and so does your home and family life. Thank you for the interesting letter and the tea.I also love crossword puzzles but never could get into Sudoku. Kindergarten does seem young to have homework. Doskie
Comment: Thank you for your 3 favorite poems. The first 2 where known to me but the third was unknown to me so now I will heve to find more from Robert Frost.
:-)))
Comment: Thank you for your letter and lists! Don't you just love call display? I use it all the time to avoid talking to a certain verbose friend too!
Comment: I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of your letters! Thank you so much for all the goodies you sent throughout this fun swap (especially the last package)! I'm so glad to have met you!

Comment: Oh goodness, Marie - I can definitely sympathize! Your letter gave me such a giggle, but just realize that you aren't alone! :)
Peace,
Michelle
Comment: Loved your stationery. I agree with your #23...no one can possibly cheerful and happy all the time...and I loved your #30...your daughter said it perfectly...sometimes stuff does just get lost in your head! :)
Comment: Thank you Marie! So nice to read about your home in the country. And I love that you just happened upon it :-) I am a city person myself, but we live in a fairly rural area. Not like you, though...just a bit off the beaten path. I want to move into the heart of the city. Someday...when I'm more established in my career.
Comment: The letter was amazing and the rocks gave me a good feel for the environment where she found them. This was an extra special swap for me. :
:P
Comment: I loved the sentence you gave me! It definitely got my creative juices going, so once I get some extra free time over the weekend, you can bet I will be using what you sent to do some writing! Thank you!!
Comment: Phenomenal letter, so descriptive! You and I have similar tastes and interests! I had so much fun reading your letter, thanks so much. You made my day.
Comment: Grinned all the way thru reading letter, boy can I relate to a lot of that, my library has a computer generated letter specially for me that says "you're late again, return your books". Thanks for being my partner, Nan
